Title Text: we also happened to snatch a few thousand pie crusts when a pillsbury truck rolled over on the highway

She knows, and here's why; Falstaff and Truck were too lucky.

Is it Heavenly to worry a mum
as the noted pair have done right now?
Jess suspects foul play in action here;
it’s not just a question of why but how?
There’s far too much bounty for her liking,
enough that it doesn’t make any sense.
The gardens sat between Heaven and, oh, hell…
but now they’ve gone and fallen off the fence.
What happens if a prophet meets a god?
Will sweet little Jess go thump Bahamut?
Are that pair on the run or the attack?
Through how many wringers will Kix be put?

Looks like Heaven is coming to them after all...

I'm still kinda optimistic that Dragon and Pete have grown fond of their mortal forms and choose to be in them while being given their powers back temporarily.

I'm in the "Pete & Dragon get their powers back but stay in their mortal shell" boat, I just think that'd be funny. And Jessica's exactly the type to get suspicious when things start going well. Too well...

All around the mulberry bush

I kinda have to wonder how close they are to the edge of the TMZ (Thirty Mile Zone). It could affect whether the mulberry trees "came with them" and were just repolinated because time is meaningless, or whether the mulberry trees are from outside the barrier and hence are "heaven" trees. Yes it does make a difference!

Count on the possum to pick up on the puzzlement. Hope Kix will be okay in the end.

I can see that happening more with Draig then Craig but who knows? Maybe when Kitsune offers them the temp position, they turn him down as they rather be mortal then immortal.

I have a question. What exactly did Bahamut do?
A) Did he teleported whole Babylon Gardens into the Heaven?
B) Or maybe he did made some kind of dream, that everybody is having?
Or exactly what could have happened.
We know that they are seeing each other, so if it's a dream it's massive dream everyone's having at the same time and can interact with each other.
If he just displaced the whole BG into the Heaven... what exactly does it mean? I mean... did Truck And Falstaff plundered actual people? Because if they did, it's not Heaven for those people. I mean. Would You like to be victim of the two raccoons plunder?

Also somehow I get a feeling that Craig and Draig... ummm, I meant Dragon and Pete can be encountering just that dream/Heaven power too. What if they just THINK they got their powers back and they are not getting it for real? I mean, they are just mortals. They used to be divine beings, but... They are trapped in mortal shell.
I rather prefer them to... get their powers back, but still having mortal bodies. Would be cool if they showed their mother that they were actually those beings they were always saying they are.
Anyway... if they are getting their Dragon/Pete powers back, it can make them... have some kind of dilema. Do they want to be mortals again, as they have friend here or they want to stay being divine beings.
But it depends on... if Bahamut will get their bodies back temporarily or for ever. It can be similar dilema, King had. He so wanted to be human again, that he ended up changing his min, because of people... or rather dogs and cats, he met as a dog. Mainly Fox and Bailey. But yeah. He likes to be a dog.

Also... I wonder if the people turned into animals would be transformed back. And if they will, would Marion and Lois stay as transgendered squirrel and bobcat or will they chose human lives.

Too many questions... Or maybe hell realm win this fight to some extent and they won't be back, can't go back (at least yet). And Pete/Dragon will be needed.

Tbh, will they ever won the fight in 100%? I mean... like they were fighting with whoever was the bad guy at the time. They always lost something. Sometimes they were okay with it. Like King. But they won the fight, when the dino demon was freed. And we see that it wasn't actual win, because the dino just opened the portal, so... En...Forgot the name... Endouant?... Have to look up at comic... Eudoant... Close. But Eudoant just came here. So they had to quarantine everything. Also even with tat trasure hunt, they got transformed into animals because of the cursed gold. Every time they actually lost something. Maybe this time they will lose something too?

Judging from the ending of Temple Crashers 2, the Treehouse is pretty close to the ruined temple, so I think it's safe to say the forest critters are at ground zero.

Good to see what's happening at Jessica's place, which is in the woods and not so far from the demolished Pete's temple. She and her friends, who live together with her, are those who risk most... :? That's curious, indeed, how come there are so many berries? It's like some positive things are happening now, before with Marion, and now with them. We know who were Craig and Draig before their born, and if they disappeared somewhere, that sounds worrying... :|

Naw. Jess is a "There's always a razor blade in the candy dish" or a "Cheer up `cause everything's gonna be awful" sort.
It will be interesting, though, after the smoke clears, to see which changes remain and which revert to previous status.

Aaaaaand will all those basement rooms Kari's been working on come into play ????

I tend to agree. If the epicenter of the zone is 30 miles around the temple, then the treehouse has to be pretty close. I think the vast majority of what we see in Housepets occurs in a pretty small area. The temple is behind the mansion which is surrounded by the neighborhood. I suspect even common places we see, like the police station, are not all that far away. For this arc, I have to think that the entire town is involved.

If they are going to be having pies then one of those pies had better be thrown into someone's face at some point and it can happen since they will have like a very large excess of them with all of those berries and Pillsbury pie crusts.

Neither Truck or Falstaff would ever waste good food by throwing it in anothers face! Now, Jess on the other hand...

I'm very curious how this is all going to play out, because it looks like Jessica and Marion at the very least suspect something is up. I wonder if that is intentional or if it might prove to be an issue. I wonder who else will figure it out.

Kitsune may not be aware of that location, or it may not matter. The temple ruins seem like a good place to start. The station is likely not all far away.

Well, let's see, using my home city of Newport as 'ground zero'

If we're talking 30 miles in diameter, that covers the major cities of Newport and Cardiff and the major towns of Blackwood, Caerphilly, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Pontypridd, Caldicot, Penarth and all the smaller scale villages around them.

If you're talking 30 miles Radius, that adds one of the U.K.'s biggest cities in Bristol, the Forest of Dean and all it's towns, Monmouth, Abergavenny, Crickhowell, Brecon, Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, Weston-Super-Mare...

Basically, using that as an example, 30 miles is one HECK of a chunk of land and may mean that they've just displaced somewhere upwards of a million people.

It's possible it could be a 30 mile perimeter which would make the radius 4.77 miles.

Nope - and that assumes the line is "crossable" - I'm guessing it's kinda like "The Dome" (ominous music plays in the background at any mention of "THE DOME"!).

This being America, though, the population would tend to be rather more spread out unless you put the start point in a megalopolis.

We in Britain are somewhat constrained by the amount of land available.

Even in the U.S. you're generally going to get 100k in 30 miles.

Depends on where this is exactly set. If it was in my town, 30 miles would cover most of the Seattle metro area, so there could be easily over a million humans (never mind animals) in that range.

But if you move out to a place like the midwest, which is more likely to be approximatly where Babylon Gardens is locatied, 30 miles might be mostly farmland and/or forest. Still possibly tens of thousands of intelligent creatures in that radius, but still possible that it's a small enough disruption as to pass by with only modest curiosity.

No, thought it's been the subject of a lot of speculation.

I think, broadly, that's it's somewhere in the midwest. East of Kansas, south of the Great Lakes, north of the deep south. Ans that's just guesswork from broad clues.

Since that is the case then from all the clues that have been given and looking at a map, I'm going to guess which is probably wrong that Babylon Gardens is in Illinois.
