but would King let the pups be late
as his fears for them are so great?
It’s love-fifteen to the pups now
and Max has been wounded, and how.
It’s a game where warriors fall
and Dogs make weapons of a ball.

Thank goodness Maxwell was playing with the pups and not Novak Djokovic. Innocent people could have been hurt otherwise instead of just him.

Jokes aside I like Sancoon's style with this one. It's colorful and over the top and looks like a TV cartoon. Maxie's instant humbling is very in character.

Nice comic, good to see this couple again. Ouch, poor Maxwell... Is it sure you're pretty qualified? The pups seem to be already strong at playing tennis.
Very good work, Sancoon, and this style kinda reminds me of some 1970s cartoons.

If Rick ever decides to do an animated Housepets! project I hope he remembers this guest comic. Your style is very fluid and compliments Rick's style without overbearing on it too much, IMHO.

It might work for the animation and suit it but in my opinion I don't think it will work that well and seems too dated. I don't mean that as an insult to Sancoon.
