The perennial existential problems of King being a dog... That's a good easy proof, Bailey, well done. It's enough see if he can catch a stick, and since he can, then he's a complete dog. The puppies can grow very well with such parents.

Yeah I don't think King has to worry about not being dog enough for his pups. He may not feel it but subconsciously he knows what to do.
