[2020/08/12 - Different Movie Reference]
Title Text: im p sure I'm not the first to come up with deus rex machina so I'm not allowed to be proud of it

Why wrap up an epic character arc when you can just have a really cool shot?
Faith doesn't change circumstances. Faith changes me.

What a majestic creature...

For realz, I'm pretty happy to see how Rick referenced the falling-banner scene

Never really considered that Grant didn't do that much, other than helping save the kids.

It's a shame all the wolves were horribly killed as dinos. They will be missed.

Deus rex machina,
That's never been seen, huh?
First time for everything,
But wow, catharsis sting!

Betrayal comes at last
And the demise is just as fast,
Grant's looking for an end,
But the plot he'd have to bend.
You're a wonderful person! You can do this! Yes, you, person reading this!

Olive, bless her little, cotton, not-socks,
wants to be important in the plot;
Without thinking outside the cardboard box
though, she’ll have to settle for what she’s got.
It seems that Rex went and got hungry
and wants to start on all his little pals.
Perhaps, to survive, that may be the key?
What do you think of that, our guys and gals?
Take a sec to appreciate awesome
and then resume legging it quick, you two,
although I do have a query to come.
Where on Earth has little Draig gotten to?

... And, having demonstrated once and for all that Tyrannosaurus is still "The King", will he favor us with a rendition of " You'll Be Back"? (For three more sequels... ;) )

'Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal': Firefly was a brilliant TV series from 2002-03, created & directed by Joss Whedon. Spaceship pilot Wash is playing with his collection of toy dinosaurs (!) and gives this line to a herbivorous dino being attacked by a T-Rex. It's a classic example of Whedonesque style, and the PERFECT quote for this page of HP!

T-rex was most definitely the hero and saved this movie.

Yeah! :D The awesome T-Rex attacked the nasty raptor, somehow saving the characters... just because it wants them for himself, of course. :P Eheh, that pun. ;)

Yay, kraft paper

Spielberg has commented that they almost didn't change the music or show the banner when the T-rex appeared. The "original cut" just continues the somber suspenseful music of the raptors closing in as our heroes back away slowly.

In other words, the T-rex was almost not awesome

Who would ever need catharsis when you have a giant T-Rex mauling another dinosaur?
