Ducks bricks.
We find that a little knowledge
can be quite a dangerous thing
as Olive here holds out a branch
and, info-wise, we hear Ace sing.
They found their way behind a tree
and it is true they left the road.
They can find their way back on foot
and the lucky Jeep may get towed.
Names change for things through history,
facts never do stay quite the same
(six years in fact, said old QI)
Evolving’s the name of the game

Give Peanut credit, he is incredible with the cardboard boxes (Makes me wonder if he has a future in Hollywood, becoming the next James Cameron).

Maxwell, didn't you see the Jurassic World sequel? It ain't Madagascar!
Re: 2020/07/06 - The Tree Of Knowledge
Ah, they had space to move with the off-road car, but we already got to learn that's better don't ask questions about this movie... I remember also this scene, with them on a tree, here masterfully interpreted by the sofa. Eheh, yeah, brontosaurus are herbivorous, but they must be always dangerous somehow, for first, because of their very big mass. That's a nice advice for any zoo, doesn't matter if hippopotamuses have some of the strongest maws of the animal reign. Lose some fingers it's the minimum thing.

While herbivores probably won't end up eating you and don't feast for your flesh, they still are pretty dangerous and can kill you so I wouldn't recommend getting to close even to them.

Especially sauropods with oddly placed sinuses subject to head colds.....

Probably doesn't help that Olive also got the classification for a hippo wrong. They aren't herbivores, they are omnivores. Plus there was a story about a man who nearly got eaten by a hippo.

I'd honestly rather watch something made by and starring Peanut and the gang than most anything coming out of Hollywood these days.
I love Peanut's "The more you know." banner though. As Dayzee noted, it's not exactly good advice, at least not in our world.

When I wrote my reply I just remembered that they were referring to THEIR hippos who probably wouldn't try to maul anybody. I'm dumb.
Re: 2020/07/06 - The Tree Of Knowledge
To be fair, we have never et their hippos. They could be, in general, quick to anger and extremely protective. Just because they can think and talk doesn't mean that they aren't mean.Amazee Dayzee wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 1:42 am When I wrote my reply I just remembered that they were referring to THEIR hippos who probably wouldn't try to maul anybody. Yeah that is very true but I always have to be down on myself since that is what I grew up with since people used me a lot and really destroyed my self-esteem and self-worth.
Re: 2020/07/06 - The Tree Of Knowledge
Change sides of the tree?
What are you, crazy?
Thankfully, an herbivore
Comes while they're all sore
After rolling out of the Jeep.
Hippos? Harmless? Yeah, right...
They're mean, they'll put up a fight,
But for comedy's sake, alright...
Just hope that they don't bite
You too deep.

Remember to remind yourself that self-depreciation is HUMOUR. Try never to be totally serious about it because that's a downer.Amazee Dayzee wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 4:57 pm Yeah that is very true but I always have to be down on myself since that is what I grew up with since people used me a lot and really destroyed my self-esteem and self-worth.
