title text:this is a very weird place to end a comic year, but consider: i am very tired

well, that’s one way of avoiding copyright mischief!

End of Year 10: Steward contemplating over a cursed coin

End of Year 11: Marion all alone in a treehouse

End of Year 12: Jurassic Park CD not working.

I love this comic.

That was a really fun arc! I’m curious to see where the perspective goes from here. I’m hoping to see more Lois & Marion, personally.

It’s been just a bit over a year since I’ve started reading the comic alongside everyone else and it’s been a real blast so far. Here’s to this past year of strips, and a fun and suspense-filled year to come!
With the right community, getting into a webcomic at the beginning of a brand new arc can feel just as enjoyable and rewarding as being there from the beginning.

This is end of year 12? Wow, here's to more of this awesome comic!

Now personally, that's NOT how you hold a CD. Sorry, I know it doesn't matter it's just... it gets dirty

At long last... Ace! Talking!

And so the strip becomes teenaged
by traumatising our young Ace.
I guess this one’s not seen the film,
leaving (D)Draig to act with grace.
The plot then begins to free wheel
until the loading screen freezes.
Twenty long years as a frizbee,
and, when it’s needed, it seizes.
It ends again on a new point.
This year it’s that we hear Ace talk.
As the thirteenth season begins
we’ll see if they can walk the walk...

It's possibly a bit concerning that Ace knows what divorce is. Who brought THAT up with the pups?

Technology, ya gotta love it. Or not. Sweet of Draig to remind Ace that it was all pretend.

Not sure if that works though, 'cause I don't know how many of you guys would use that expression :P

Alright, this story imagination is taking a small pause. ;) Aww, poor Ace, that's bad to hear at her age, also if it's pretended... :( Then, the first thing we get to hear from her is the reply to a misunderstanding. :| Since how much time I didn't read of "interactive" CD-ROM? :P And great, both that disc and the "brakes" work well (the LaserDisc of before worked, at least).
Anyway, last but not least, congrats for the twelfth year of the comic archived! :D

Hey! It looks like Draig actually holds a CD the way that I used to when I was younger! That brings back memories! Of course they weren't all good because due to the way I held them like how she is I ended up damaging them more often than not. :?

Draig seems to have a much gentler disposition than Craig. Or maybe she's just more tech-savy.....

I always thought of it as Draig and in her Celestial form Dragon was the most reasonable and very friendly out of her and her brother Craig or his Celestial form Pete.

It's all just pretend,
King's marriage won't ever end,
But that doesn't mean it's obvious to Ace,
As we see a tremble start to quiver on her face.

The video doesn't work for this ride,
That's alright, just let it slide,
Besides, there's a CD-ROM,
When I was little, those were the bomb.

There's only one problem, the car has no brakes,
Oh well, safety never makes
Money for all,
But be careful, lest dinos come call...
You're a wonderful person! You can do this! Yes, you, person reading this!

Yeah, the little exchange inGallifax Protocol between her and Maxwell in her teen-age bedroom is quite charming.
