No no Mr Hammond, don't bend this. These dinos are no good
Re: 2020/05/27 - Dinner Theater
Perhaps Mr. Hammond is regretting bringing the insane mathmatition on the trip....

Three places. One glass of 'wine'.
Defining the world over lunch
really does make you think;
if all of them are grown ups
why’s Sabby got the only drink?
Max pokes sense at all the nonsense
as the others argue the cash;
he’s attained the higher ground
as they wallow in all the trash.
Flaccid arguments they will try
to justify their rotten point.
The fact that he doesn’t trust them
puts their noses right out of joint...

Is it strange I'm enjoying this take on Jurassic Park more then the movie itself?

If God meant us to fly he'd have invented the Wright brothers. Or that Santos-Dumont fella.

The first known fixed wing fliers (gliders) are an unnamed boy in 1849 and a Butler/footman in 1853 (He promptly quit after landing) Both gliders constructed by someone the Wright brothers acknowledge as one of the fathers of Modern aviation, George Cayley.

Gotta make sure you don't invent your own mutual destruction though, Grape. :3

Actually, I did forget. Sorry, Arg.

Re: 2020/05/27 - Dinner Theater
And, not recalling the film, I'm wondering if the fact that Sabrina is the only one with 'wine' is a subtle nod to her being the most grown up character.
Re: 2020/05/27 - Dinner Theater
The lawyer Sabrina isn't good to do the math, and that's weird for someone doing that job. The park is expensive to keep and so it's only open for the rich ones, yeah, but if the poor ones can't get a chance to be eaten by the dinosaurs, then it's better that the poor dinosaurs eat the rich... The character played by Maxwell is so right, any unorthodox method is worth for them to get what they wished, but I would agree also with the character played by Grape, and it's that you challenge to dare to get scientific results... Eh, indeed, at the end, you're taking advantage and monetizing the scientific milestone of bringing dinosaurs back to life.

Max and the youngsters are shining in this Imaginate. I wonder if Max is a Goldblum fan, he has the mannerisms down.

How anybody could listen to that and then have the same talker be so smug is beyond me. If I was there in the movie, I would probably die but not before I throw the annoying stutterer to the dinosaurs myself. I can see Grape is also getting annoyed.
Re: 2020/05/27 - Dinner Theater
Who cares how much the park is billing?
Dino bellies still need filling!
Sabrina's sipping a glass of wine,
She's over twenty-one, so that seems fine...
Earn the knowledge, then you use it,
Don't waste it, don't dare abuse it,
And don't just copycat Jeff Goldblum,
Reinvent the role- as a rule of thumb.

Too bad he wasn't the one that came up with it. That actually was Edward Lorenz who died 12 years ago.

Re: 2020/05/27 - Dinner Theater
This whole arc was actually just a thinly veiled ruse for Grape, Sabby, and Max to break out the toothfish and grab a bite.

I can't find anything about the real father of chaos theory stuttering like a complete imbecile like Malcolm does in the movie.
Re: 2020/05/27 - Dinner Theater
The stuttering was charming back then
