As a Costa Rican, it's my civil duty to tell you that that scene is a poorly depiction of San José, like not accurate at all... and they only got one incredibly small detail right. But you know, Hollywood...

Anyway it's cool to see the name of the country in a strip :D

Unsurprisingly they shot that scene in Hawaii like the rest of the on location stuff.

Craig as Nedry is going to be hilarious.

And now we come to dangerous guys
as Grape springs up with the check.
One has great conspiracy glasses
and one laughs himself to the deck.
Shady dealings are talked out here,
hidden in a coffee café,
between one who knows the role
and one who can be evil all day.
It seems we have Director Grape,
keeping all the plates in the air.
When it comes to the Dinos, though,
I wonder who she casted there?

Me, I never saw much humor in aerosol saving cream cans but waiters jumping out from under your table ... that's a scream!

Craig is perfect for the role of Dennis Nedry.

Craig playing a villain/jerk, I am really enjoying this Imaginate.

Why is he laughing? Probably, it's because there's no way to let embryos survive transporting them in a thermos, indeed... Eheh, I can't blame him. :P Ah, so Craig/ex Pete is playing the part of a villain. That's so much suitable to him. :D

A shaving cream can,
What an ambitious plan
To hide some eggs,
While Craig, for a better plan begs.

No, scratch that, he's laughing insanely,
His madness shown quite plainly,
He wants Dodgson to pay the bill;
It doesn't look like Peanut will.
You're a wonderful person! You can do this! Yes, you, person reading this!

You know I honestly didn’t think that Craig would play along willing but I am pleasantly surprised. I was thinking that he would have to be convinced or bribed to do this. Even as a fox kit, Pete doesn’t seem to be the type to like to play pretend and would much rather screw around with mortals so that he can beat his sister at whatever cost. Of course he could have been convinced or bribed to play along but we don’t know.

Or he could be playing along to hide the fact that he had stolen whatever he and Olive found before the game started.

Me, too. Unless Peanut's going to play all the adult leads, I'd guess Maxwell (or maybe Pueblo?) ... Not sure who all's present yet.

Craig didn't need to be convinced or bribed and he didn't steel anything. Quite the contrary. The box from Buried Treasure was labeled "PAPER HATS". The "cool stuff" he wanted to play with therefore were the hats for Jurassic Park. There's no need for a bribe since he demanded to play and he didn't steel the contents so much as he chose to play Dennis Nedry.

Oh I thought that there was something else in the box because when he and Olive opened in up there was a shine that came out of it which lead me to believe that something more valuable was in there.

Also, you think that he knows how Nedry ends up dying in the film?

Might be a reference to Pulp Fiction, but with a reveal. In the movie, one of the protagonists opens a briefcase that apparently had something they really wanted. it glowed gold, but the case was shut without revealing the contents and it's never said what was inside. It's also been parodied a few times.

And either Craig doesn't know the characters fate, or he finds it funny enough to go along with it. Hubris, I believe. He shut down the parks safety systems to create a distraction, but it also led to his own death.

I would go with the idea that Craig doesn't know exactly how Nedry ends up dying because I don't think Craig would want to play a character that dies in that way and would pitch a fit. But then again I don't know how being a fox kit has changed Pete's personality in some ways.

Just an aside, I didn't know who he was or how he died either until I went with my mother to her friend's house two years ago and her Christmas movie that she was playing on the television in the kitchen was Jurassic Park and that was the scene I watched.
