Is this Imaginate!: Jurassic Park?

Edit: I was right! I posted before the title of the arc updated.

Jumping right in, then. Was Sabrina already there? Should be fun, though.

Love it. Jurassic Park.

Kids being eaten when a park is opening is definitely bad for business.

And Grape owns the park. hah :3

A Jurassic Park spoof? Oh this is going to be a fun one.

In real life the stuntman who gets eaten was played by ex-MLB player Jophery Brown. The following year he was famously the one at the wheel during filming of the bus jump scene in the movie "Speed." So under no circumstances let Draig drive in 2021.

Cats and Kits come out to play
at what looks like Jurassic Box Park;
showing invention is here to stay,
fighting reason that’s from the ark..
Did Sabrina hear who’s attending?
Is that the reason that she’s here?
Just dropping around, on the off chance,,
might be taken as queer, I fear.
Pueblo and Draig are first up
as the others choose their hats.
One we know will land on his feet
But the others? They aren’t Cats...

An Imaginate Jurassic Park, I like it. I wonder who else came over with Sabrina? Probably at least Max and Tarot.

And so, a new imaginate game begins! :D It's nice see new ones play it, Pueblo is just so cute. :) Good choice for Jurassic Park, even though I've never watched that movie entirely. Oh, that's really safe to do, gatekeeper... :P Have visitors eaten by dinosaurs already goes against the purpose of your genius idea of a such park, figure out if that hasn't to go against regulations... :?

Looks like Jurassic Park
Will be our new arc
So who's gonna be the dinos?
Probably only Peanut knows.

Too many rules keep getting in the way,
That's what Sabrina and Grape both say,
But you have to be really careful,
Or a T-Rex might eat their fill.

Fluffy the Alligator appears in the 2012 arc, "Housepets babies", reprinted in Book Four. Peanut relates this story to Res who is visiting him and Grape (and already developing a crush on our purple enchantress).

So, story ... A mysterious stranger captures Fox and Maxwell. While they are tied up together in an empty room, Grape - a kitten at the time - drops in to rescue them. While they debate their escapes, they learn that their kidnapper has arranged for them to be guests at Fluffy's birthday, to which they reply "Awwwww". Then they discover that Fluffy is an enormous alligator and surmise their role in the celebration is gonna be fatal. Grape grabs a broom handle and goes all berserker on Fluffy and his/her owner. The police appear and rescue our delectable trio. Max and Fox are both embarrassed by their behavior and the fact they've been rescued by a kitten.

So, being reptilian, huge, and a carnivore, Fluffy seemed a logical casting for Jurassic Park. However, he has not appeared since the 2012 arc so he may have found employment elsewhere. There is a counterintuitive theory that Fluffy was actually a vegetarian and Fox, Maxwell, and Grape were actually being invited to cake, ice cream, and party favors. It is, hoiwever, non-canonical but Rick has yet to outright repudiate it.

Who knows? Maybe he's planned for Fluffy to do a cameo .... ;)

I'm gonna guess that Peanut will be Alan Grant, Tarot will be Ellie Sattler, Max will be Ian Malcolm, and King's pups will be Hammond's grandkids [with three of them rather than two].

Somehow I doubt that they will have someone who is a heroic character be played by Tiger. If anything, Tiger probably would be a villain or Nedry.

I wonder how Jurassic Park is going to be different in the Housepets! universe. After all, Jurassic Park is much more animal centric than Macbeth or Guys and Dolls. I'm thinking there'll be not much different, all things considered. In HP! animals are bipedal, except that only applies to pawed mammals, not dinosaurs (some of which are bipedal anyway). Animals are more intelligent, but the deinonychuses velociraptors were portrayed as very intelligent anyway. "Clever girl", and all that. Lastly is speech, but even that might stay the same. One of the points in the book was the cloned dinos did not have any elders to learn from, so their social structure was a mess. Even if HP! dinosaurs could have talked, the ones in Jurassic Park wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to learn how.

At the end of that story, Fox apologizes to Grape for being so overbearing towards her and they hug. The story comes from back when Fox was one of Bino's lieutenants and a "cat-hater" so you could see his changing relationship with Grape as part of his transition out of Bino's orbit.

Sidebar to nowhere - I always thought that Fox and Grape might make an interesting pairing in a short adventure or, at least, one of those "remember-when-you-and-I" sort of reflections. Probably should file that with the "Sasha-and-Daisy" arc, but still they'd be intriguing colleagues for a short episode or reflection.

You probably would be very astonished if you realized how many people started to ship Fox and Grape (Grox) because of that arc in particular.

I only shipped Fox and Sasha (Foxsha) so I could put my own OC with Kevin. 8-)
