Title Text: *mungo, passed out, Kari hovering over him* You amateur, that's not even a tranq dart!

Dart Guns; the most efficient way to deliver needed shots!

First time I think we've seen Mungo that scared before! Then again, it IS a needle so...can't blame him! Same time, I'm surprised the door is still standing strong-ish, seeing that it was Mungo who ran through it.

And here Mungo passes his tests again,
coming through with a clean bill of health.
But the cost of replacing the door here?
Ralph will ensure that comes from Mungo’s wealth.
The vet is going to get his gun to hunt,
he’s used to this from a certain young Fox
and, unlike when he hunts the Russet nut,
he’s won’t have to think out of the box.
Mungo the mighty is under the threat
of a booster to his mighty frame.
A note to everyone here, take your shots.
A matter of health is not a game.

Underneath all that muscle, Mungo is just like any other dog who can’t stand the vet.

Even if it was a tranq dart Mungo wouldn't be more likely to pass out. If anything he'd be less likely (though it's a bit late for that). Tranqalizers aren't anesthetics. All they do is make the animals more, you know, tranquil (and Mungo can benefit from calming down about now).

I'm more surprised that it didn't have a Mungo shaped hole in it. Not like we haven't seen that before. Seems like the vet needs to give him some calming juice before his next shot.

Cute strip, though. Always nice to see Mungo, even if it's in a shear panic.

Yay, we see again Mungo! :D Eheh, our big boy is in great health. ;) But... oh! :P Fear of needles can also scare a such brawny dog... Ahahah, the doors must really hate Mungo, like flowers vases hate the ground. His booster shot costs much more everytime he gets one. :P Uhm, looks like Karishad already got experience with fired darts... :?

Hated shots as a kid, hate `em as an adult, I'm with you, Mungo!!

Naturally I hated them as a kid and I think all kids do but as I grew up I got interested in seeing how they were administered and the way the syringe worked so I'm not that unnerved by them now but I still don't like getting them.

Being afraid of needles suits Mungo so much! And not only beacuse the big guy is afraid of small things gag but because his character is so... nice and pure, I dunno, I hope whatever I'm saying makes sense

It makes sense to me!
And you're right! Mungo is super pure and adorable! He's actually one of my favorite characters.
Also, I ship him and Fox.

Agreed! Heck, it's even nice to see the veterinarian again.....

I'm just really glad that the veterinarian finally has gotten used to the fact that this happens whenever Mungo needs a shot.

If I were him I’d put in a yearly order for lumber and a doorknob. Either that or hire Kari.

Or go with a solid-core fire door. Though that might be what it was.

Would the needle even be able to penetrate him :?:
But the first panel is cute, you don't often see Mungo look up to someone (literally I mean)

Sure it would. The vet gets a special kryptonite supply.

Mungo is huge, but he's still a dog. He looks up to any adult human around. We just only rarely see him speaking to human. IIRC, the only time I can think of a time was when he was with the detective when they were investigating the attempt on Keene. Other than that, he's usually with the other pets.

That would then be why he always seems like he is a giant when other adults are a bit taller than him.

Maybe he's concerned that his health insurance doesn't cover this innoculation and Mungo doesn't want to get "stuck" with the bill. (heeheeheeheeheehee.....)

Yeah I'm sure that's it. What was I thinking otherwise? I think it fits. Yeah that definitely is the explanation. Its not like Mungo is scared of anything that is why he acted like this. He's Mungo!

A shot, oh shoot,
He's terrified to boot,
Call the hardware store again,
Because that's just the way it's been
With Mungo around.

Time to get the dart gun
And follow him, won't that be fun?
I don't think so, but we'll see,
This 'police chase' isn't like on TV,
I've found.
