So I guess that's the new burning question: Why does Daryl have a shaving kit in his bathroom? xD

Oh, and lyrics win. :D

And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile

And you may find yourself in a beautiful house
With a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself, "Well... How did I get here?"

Nice twist there Rick. Do I see a tear from King's eye in the third panel? Hmmm, uh, yes. Why a wolf would need shaving cream? o.o I guess that's the rule of funny. xD. Haha.

So, first of all, King WAS in the forest, so he is going walkies with Sasha, after all ;). Second, this is really amazing, I must say! I like this ending very much, King now lives with the wolves. His life will get better.

Although I'm not sure how much an ex-PETA employee will enjoy living with wolves....

Ohhhhhh YEAH!!! :D This is the BEST thing for him! Maybe he'll finally start to get it, where animals are concerned, since they are the ones responsible for him being the closest thing to human he can now be.

On a side note, let's see Bino try to use a catnip bomb on him NOW! :P

Anyhoo, it is good to see King so happy for once, and also good to see the GK kept its promise; how heartwarming.

I totally didn't see this coming. I was just thinking that King would wake up in his house and Pete was just gone without explanation. In hindsight, I don't know why I thought this.

SliceOfDog approves of this change of circumstances :D

I hadn't actually considered the cubs until Valerio mentioned them. King + cubs will certainly = hilarity.
However, am I the only one who's sort of sad to see Pete leave? I mean, I know it's not for ever, but I assume it'll be for a long time so that when he returns it will be a shock (Also, it would likely result in another King arc, which I assume will not happen for at least another half a year or so XD )

Oh, and I was also talking to another Housepets! fan literally 3 days ago, and mentioned that I'd like to see Daryl get more lines. Spooky o_0

Something just occurred to me, since the Wolves work at the Milton house, I wonder if are they going to put King to work in the near future?

Edit: Noticed spelling typo.

I think it will be a bit of a "but I wouldn't have it any other way" case, where he seems to be having a lot of bad things happen (Cubs pouncing on him, being given raw deer to eat etc) but at the end of the day is still happy with it. I think he'll get to the point where he's very happy living there, and that is when Pete will return :o

ANYTHING (Jake aside, Sasha's owner aside) is preferable to Pete at this point. :P

And you forgot: Pete cannot do anything more to King by the GM's order, at least directly. I suppose he could find another way to make it happen through someone else, where he just makes a suggestion, and say, Bino carries out his wishes. :?

Now King will be able to eat better (human food.) I think King is going to have a hard time living with wolf pups.

You gotta love a comic when "the human who was turned into a dog by a supernatural beast is now living with wolves who act somewhat like humans instead of aforementioned supernatural beast taking the form of a human" is one of the more normal resolutions to a plot.

How far in advance are these strips written (or rough drafted)? It seems like a lot of the time I hear things on the forum that get answered immediately afterward in the comic, such as everyone wondering why the sink has a razor, only for that to be asked in-comic the next update. Or perhaps we just talk so much as to exhaust most possibilities in the two to three days between comics until we happen to stumble upon a topic touched in the next strip?

Thats true guys this strip isn't some elaborate novel where every arc ends together in some animated special. (alltho it could...)and Pete will probably find a new avatar and screw with tiger and peanut. That reminds me, we need moar PEANUT we haven't seen him in months.
