I now wonder if all of this could have been avoided if King did just physically nip her instead of all this.

Sasha: What are "Boundaries?"
Honestly that explains a lot.

So Sasha just needed a translator. Thankfully Natilie speaks... Whatever it is Sasha speaks.

I love how Rick cuts to the quick here. This conversation could easily gone another week. He cuts it to a few panels.

Well, Nat does work in a call centre. She's used to translating. And wanting to bite people.

Sometimes the formula to success
is to dole it out in simpler terms
because, on occasion, talk confuses
and acts as bait for the worms.
Nat is a great go-between here,
able to translate between them all;
something that she’s worked on
every day, on every call.
King, losing your temper doesn’t help,
Didn’t Bailey remind you of that?
Your path is right and your way;
but Sash thought you were being a prat...

Well now we seem to have someone who can speak fluent Sasha.

Makes me wonder if she might actually be more comfortable among the wolves or if that might be a bad idea.

Or maybe it's more she speaks fluent King/human. Either way we may have a translator.

I approve of everything about this arc. It's been spectacularly well done.

Man Sasha seems like she can be very frustrating to live with I love her character but some times it's kind of hard to like her.

I don't think it's the wolves, it's Natalie. I'm not sure how she would fare long term with the rest.

Look at King, being all assertive. If you look closely, you can see a tear in Sasha's left eye. I get why Shasha understands this better (as oxymoronic as "verbally nipping" sounds), but why is she so cheerful? How come she didn't make the connection he's (verbally) nipping her because she's ugly or whatever

*looks through all the pages of the whole arc*
Huh....interesting...King NEVER just straight out told Sasha to stop getting too close to him.
Yeah, he talked about some "boundaries" and such, but boundaries can mean a lot of things, but he never just said
"Hey, Sasha, please back off a little bit," or something similiar to that.
So...yeah...King didn't went for the direct route and just telling Sasha she is too close, which is hilarious in hindsight

But to be fair, I can't give Sasha a free pass either since:
1) In this strip she REALLY was quick to turn on the water works.
2) If someone, who is normally nice to you, suddenly acts strange torwards you, you should actually give that person the benefit of a doubt and ask what's wrong.

I had a third point but I forgot which one it was....

Aside from that, I like this comic strip, the last two panels were really funny

Hehe. Be short, sweet, and to the point. Got it. Though, a canine translator/approach certainly helps.

Hopefully that resolves the issue, at least for now.

King nip Sasha? Doubt if he's gotten to licking the pups yet. Always helps to have a translator!

Well, as Bailey says in the last strip, nipping is the dog thing to do to let someone know they've crossed a boundary, and the proper response from the nipped dog is to accept it and back off no questions. That's therefore something Sasha can easily understand. ^^

Okay now I have to ask something to everyone:
Do you imagine some music when looking at the third panel?
For some reason I hear the X-files theme when looking at it, since it looks like Sasha is trying to solve some sort of alien mystery

Natalie's a lifesaver, isn't she?
Also, bravo to King for finally standing up for himself.

Welp, that's it. Problem solved!
(I'm calling it-King's gonna say that now living with Sasha might actually be enjoyable, and then Kevin shows up and says he just got Sasha transferred to his house.)

Well, nice to see that King can use his words.... but he's a little late for that.
--
Memery turned comic strip,
I think Rick reads housepets_irl,
Nice to see that King doesn't flip,
New-found assertiveness suits him well.

Thank you, Nat for translating,
King doesn't speak canine well,
He doesn't mean to be a'hating,
He needs an end to all this hell.

Time to set some boundaries,
Sasha, don't cross them or else,
You've stumbled on some quandaries,
Now run before King's sanity melts!

This is one of the lingering problems King is going to have: he still doesn't quite understand being a dog.

Kevin! Come back taking your girlfriend with you, please. :| Eh, Sasha, you wished to... :P That's pretty pretentious, anyway, wanting apologies for a trouble started by you... Good reply, King, also if she doesn't understand it. ;) Eheh, that's a really good explaining, Natalie. :D Eh, King, if you followed Bailey's advice to nip at her, it was going to be more effective than thousands of words. :P Be a dog with other dogs. 8-)
The third panel is great!

Panel 4. King's expression is shown as -.- which means "K" in Morse.
