I can't believe he is going to tease Grapenut again. Don't do this to me, Rick, I had accepted this was dead for a while now, I know you aren't going to do it. I would love it if you did but, we all know your not. I can't go through wanting this to happen again when I know it's not going to no matter how much I want it.

Grape did fulfill the first two things Peanut stipulated in arcs 1 and 2 respectively.

True and it also shows that Peanut was paying attention to Tarot earlier but just going along with what she was saying because he didn't feel like arguing with her.

Peanut: "Just now when you said we'd spend two hours talking about our feelings."
Tarot: "We're doing that now!"

This tells me two things. One is that the arc is most likely a long heart to heart and two we're never leaving this spa. It really is the Hotel California. or LOST.

Tarot doesn’t see anything wrong
and, indeed, most ways there’s nothing
so, perhaps, wrong is a bit strong.
The dating game has to now change;
one has to be more specific;
if he tells of what he really wants
then Peanut could be terrific.

Also, the annoying pet one i recall is not just Bino, but mice. and possibly Joey.

So Peanut wants Tarot to behave more like Grape. Does she feel insulted by it now? Can't wait for Monday.

Given how things with Dragon went and Tarot feeling that Dragon just took her boyfriends away from her; it seemed like she never really got any real relationships to herself. I really can't imagine her taking her current boyfriend wanting her to be like someone else (that he has a crush on no less) very well at all.

Just in the last comic page discussion I brought up that grapenut was never coming back basically, and there Rick goes teasing it again. That being said, I like that Peanut is asking for his own input into the relationship, even if Grape has to spell it out for him. Wonder if Max is gonna do that soon?

I highly agree with this, but it seems like the problem i'm looking at is Peanut won't stop emulating Grape because he lives with her.

I suspect this arc is going to be about improving Tarot by somehow doing what Grape does - but better. This couple session thing going on from Grape and Max either derailed the cats, or it's going to make them come up with a different solution.

my prediction for how this arc goes: Tarot realizes she's too uptight because she's always had Dragon with her, so she needs to finally learn to live like a normal pet. she loosens up, maybe gets a new loveable personality quirk, and becomes a much more loveable character who Peanut stays with.

The Grape thing aside what Peanut is asking for is not unreasonable. Shared interests, defending you in tough situations, less demanding. I mean these are literally some of the most basic things anyone looks for in a relationship and/or a best friend. Honestly aside from the less demanding thing he could be describing Joey.
Tarot doesn’t need to be more like Grape as much as she needs to be a real girlfriend. I mean if you have nothing in common then the relationship was never going to last.

Tarot's been kinda hard to like for a while now, and this isn't helping. She's pretty far into "unlikable" now.

But Grape hasn't really seen Peanut in a very boyfriendy light. Peanut's crush on Grape has never really gone anywhere.

I like Tarot; the fact that she's so bossy (and that she comically misses the fact that she is bossy) is endearing. The fact that she's the most steeped in Magic(k) and yet the most no-nonsense character in many ways is a fun dichotomy.

Frankly, Peanut must have a short Memory, because I also remember she made several demands, the most prominent on-screen One from GALLIFRAX PROTOCOL.

And I also noted something else from that same arc: Peanut isn’t the Model of Calm when under pressure... Which is probably Why he keeps liking Grape.

Grape maybe a Tsundere, but she is also able to stop and ask, 'What am I Doing?' when she isn't blinded by... other emotions.

Tarot, on the other hand, had a habit of being 'Barge in and take command' when things Seem to look up. She also has a habit of Foisting Problems she considers 'Trivial' onto others, like in This strip:

As Grape said, "You're his Psychic Girlfriend, Why didn't you speak up!?" Hers was the power to Drop the Holodeck and comfort Peanut, or manifest in Front of Peanut to talk to him, but Tarot did nothing. She just let it unfold into a blowout.

Grape had to go comfort him herself, and yet, All through that, she was calm and understanding, only getting stern when Peanut tried to evade.

I guess the comic strip on monday will be Tarot saying what bothers her about Peanut.
Also I wonder if Grape and Max get so involved with trying to help Peanut and Tarot that the two of them start having problems themselves, because they realise they also have certain problems.

Also also I would like to ask what the others think:
Do you think other couples will also get involved in this arc somehow?
Maybe Tarot and Peanut also ask the others for help or something?

Also also also now I'm wondering if a certain therapy dog will come and help out.

It could be that Grape is blushing because she realizes that she might be doing more for Peanut than for Max, and she needs to work on that. Or I could be wrong and Grape and Peanut end up getting together with Tarot and Maxwell’s blessings.
