Seriously why would she mess with the dogs? They are not the family of wolves she sees as interlopers. Maybe she didn't realize it was a dog, and thought Bailey was another wolf?

Interesting that the rap on Gales hand is not on the part that was being a chew toy. To me the alt text confirms Gales knows Uncle Deadeye by name.

Wolf or not, they're still trespassing. Being directly associated with the wolf family is additional justification.

So, we either continue from this, or the next strip will go on like this didn't happen because comedy. Basically merely a "NOPE" page on Gale's part.

Maybe Bailey's like Snake in Metal Gear Solid 2 when you meet him at first; takes a deep sleep, forcing you to leave him, but the instant you point a gun at him, he wakes up ready to fight back, only to go back to sleep immediately when you put your own gun down.

I would be surprised that King is sleeping through this but he did almost sleep through the birth of his children so... I love how she said "touch my pups" instead of "touch my family" so apparently she does not think much of King.

It's not everyday we get a timeless strip like this one. This is one we will be referring back to for years to come. It was all worth it for this moment.

Where is Rook? And if they brought exactly two pups, then where is Olive here?

I'd say Rook is probably the reason King isn't there. As in, he needed to visit a bush.

I'm kind of disappointed that she didn't wake up and give her classic "What is going on?" look.

I thought Lucretia's mouth was higher up Gale's arm, so there would be tooth marks closer to her wrist, or at least at the same level as her thumb, in addition to the part of her palm that was wrapped. I guess the distinction is whether in the previous strip Lucretia had Gale's thumb in her mouth or if she was biting the area between the thumb and first finger, and the thumb was just covered up by her mouth. With that angle you can't really tell. Side question, why do you always add a space between every period when typing an ellipsis?

Huskies often have a lot of wolf in their bloodline. And as I've mentioned before a lot of wolves have been found to have domestic dog markers in their DNA. Bailey may have more key wolf genes than Miles or Lucretia.

Well, two moms in confrontation, one does not release a throat hold gratis, and Miles may just know more than he's letting on... and, unlike Poncho, Miles isn't smittin', kitten....

Been contemplating, but it looks like Gale going for King's tent and not Miles makes me believe she's more serious about the whole territorial thing more and not taking it as personally with Miles as much as i thought. Makes you wonder what would need to be done to change her mind about this?

Also, Bailey, you paralyze a cat by grabbing it at the *back* of the neck.

That would be a great scene with a scruffed Gale hanging there in "sleep mode".

Actually no, I think it is indicating the spark of power from when she was Pete's avatar remains (and is now activating).
