And to think I was worried about them. Of course they would figure the game out quickly.

Wait, we're supposed to be tracking the encumbrance from currency? grumble.....how many gp's to a pound?......

Seriously though, that's a fight I would have liked to see. I wonder if they realized it's real, or think it's just really sophisticated smoke and mirrors?

Anyone else noted it's B5 (Babylon 5) Vs Star Trek: TNG today?

Dallas discovers the limitations of Trek
- Sheridan at least had some pockets -
but he’s going with the Neutrino flow
and looking out for the charging sockets.
Lester can’t complain as he forgot too
and Joey has forgotten even more;
never mind the missing pocket, one and two,
Joey seems to have no feet on the floor!
They felled giants but only Joey seems to care,
worrying about how these things came to be;
unimpressed by the gold flowing around
and wondering what else there is here to see.

Aw C'mon! The only Karma I'm seeing here is that Joey's gang likely won't get their loot, since they can't carry it!

Seriously, knowing RPGs, if you don't pick up an item after a certain amount of time, it'll disappear.

Still, something tells me that they'll get what's coming to them later in the Temple. I mean, not only were they acting like jerks, they also defaced what's basically private property, as well as Divine property.

No they're not. However, something tells me that the enemies would get much stronger when we get deeper in.

And considering that Joey's been noted to be rather sensible in most arcs (Especially considering his very first appearance), he's likely getting the feeling that this isn't so much a LARP as it's actual combat. I mean, all they think is that the Temple's given them powers and the chance to loot, but not that their lives are in actual danger.

Though I'm wondering why it's called 'Filthy Lucre'? I mean, it's saying that their loot was obtained by Sordid, Dishonourable or distasteful means, even though they've basically earned it by giving the Guardians a beating? Also, anyone else getting the feeling that Pete wasn't actually at the lowest levels of the temple when he talked to Keene? That he was merely in a random 'Treasure room' for convenience's sake?

For a second I thought those were the corpses of Pete's and Dragon's Celestial forms.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

The back of Res' head looks weird. Looks like there are two lines of hair that didn't shed.
And Pete's distant cousins didn't stand a chance!

Last I checked, some White Mages in certain games can actually use DETH MAGIC (Laughs Maniacally). So yeah. He may still be a 'White Mage' with DETH MAGIC in his Arsenal.

Of course, that's not to say that he hit his target on the first go...

because the adventures of the "USS Reset Button" were badly written. They can launch both shuttles and the Delta flyer despite not having a second shuttlebay, or the fact that the flyer is three times the size of said bay (Voyager's bay was built for the smallest class of shuttle, while the flyer is the size of a runabout). They spend a season and a half searching for sources of an isotope that should be available in abundant quantities in any gas gian or planet with oceans, expend five times their maximum compliment of ordinance despite having nowhere to resupply, and based on casualties stated in various episodes and the crew compliment of their class, should have negative twelve crew left by the midpoint of season six.

And that's just the easy nitpicks, the full list is a textbook.
TeflonCougar wrote: Regardless, Voyager is still Trek

It's also irrelevant due to being the wrong version of the uniform.

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

and we're getting too off topic as this is Housepets not Trek Pet Peeves. So on that...

We see Grape/Peanut's team
We see Joey and crew
Where is Fox, Sabrina, the Celestial Huskies?
Is Tarot on Peanut's team or is she with Fox/Sabrina?

I say with Fox, doing her best to keep the heavenly Huskies at bay.

Depending on how genre-savvy they are, they might be trying to socialize with the monsters.

Well, looks like Joey and his group went far ahead than you, instead. ;) They entered for first and didn't fall in the manhole, after all. Don't talk, Max... :P Cool, they defeated more monsters. :D Eheh, you want to steal all that gold... :P
I guess this is the longest comic strip title ever. :P And I agree with what it says. ;)

Or the theme song of Joxer the Mighty from the old "Xena Warrior Princess" series. Just replace Joxer with Lester

Blood—valour—and victory! Ha-HA!

Joxer the Mighty
He's very tidy
Everyone admires him
He's so handsome it's a sin
When things get grim
He'll take it on the chin
If you're in jeopardy
Caused by the enemy
Don't call the cavalry
There's a better remedy
(Although he doesn't work for free!)
He's every man's trusty,
He's every woman's fantasy,
Plus he's goo-oood company
Look out! He's Joxer--
Joxer the Mighty!
Joxer the Mighty!!!
