Title Text: vacations help me think

Something tells me that he's about to get the greatest source of inspiration soon. What better way to end a series?

Hunters of the, Glory of the, Fall of the, and Hope of the are ones we know from before.
Also apparently the bookseries is called "The Pridelands Cycle", interesting note.

Not gonna lie, I had a mini freak out session once I saw Res. I was already half-shaking from seeing the title "Meanwhile in Canada". It's been too long since Res has been here. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to open my window and scream to the heavens that Res is back.

I'm liking all of these older characters coming back recently. Crazy Steve, Fiddler and Keys, Res... Who's next, Jasper? (I hope it's Jasper)

Speaking of older characters... When was the last time Rex showed up?

As an aspiring author myself, I feel so much sympathy for him right now.

I have shoeboxes full of stories, I have an FF account with a bunch of unupdated works, I feel his pain so much.

I'm even behind on a blog I wanted to do a post a month on for my new years resolution.

Writing is hard. You can take all the notes you want, draft up a million and one excerpts, sit before the screen for a full week, and still feel just as stuck as before.

A million ideas can go through your head, but they don't take you one step further. I'm...probably rambling.

All I can say is maybe a break will do you some good Res. I'm at least rooting for you man. Or...tomcat. Just keep at it. The muse will strike again, so take it by the collar when it does.

Of course he's Canadian, his little symbol is a maple leaf. What else would he have been?

I was quite happy to see this when I watched Rick stream the comic earlier in the week, as not only is Res one of my favorites, but way back during RMFC (RIP) when he had a Housepets Q&A, I asked if Res was ever going to show up again, and he had said yes - so I'm happy to see that fulfilled.

Well, this one is "End of the"...

But, but...

It can't be the end!

He'll find he can't stop, and he'll have to do prequels or something.

Book 8 will be Pride of the Pridelands.

It's set before Fall of the Pridelands but you don't find that out until halfway through the book because it uses new characters including a wild cat, a yellow dog, a warrior fox, and a mystical rabbit prophet. Then you realize those weird bits in book 7 you didn't understand were hidden teasers.
