All signs point to Diss.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.
Re: 2017/04/26 - In The Nuthouse
You know Diss you could've at least shared them.
Also, I think this the first time the squirrels were the main focus in a strip.

There seems to be some Disscussion as to who's to blame here... But I doubt it. We'd never catch him.
Three new ladies under forest cover,
hunting for trophies, hidden near clover.
Time’s not yet up, hunger soon arrives;
this is the time not every lady survives.
The work they spilt between them,
harrying and carrying nut, shell and stem;
cracking the earth with their claws
and adding the location to their stores.
Someone’s sinned and eaten more
than they buried, a true cheats’ score.
The girls can mull and then reflect
and it’s possible they have a suspect...

Huh. Now that I think of it, I don't remember seeing squirrels before in this comic. Can somebody point me to evidence of these elusive and rare creatures?Saturn381 wrote:You know Diss you could've at least shared them.

I remember one jump-scaring Peanut by face-planting the window while he was inside reading a book, but for the life of me I can't find it. Can't think of any other times, though, admittedly.CyberDragon wrote:Huh. Now that I think of it, I don't remember seeing squirrels before in this comic. At least this was the Nuthouse and not The Nutshack.

Don't you know that's the magic Christmas Squirrel, who leaves walnuts and brazils for all the good Squirrel kits?SuperStar wrote:On the matter of that one, doesn't the squirrel looks proportionally off?Dissension wrote: [Seasons Greetings]
Or it could be a Dissguise.

I think that was the first full strip after a style change, right after Rick was sick.SuperStar wrote:On the matter of that one, doesn't the squirrel looks proportionally off?Dissension wrote: [Seasons Greetings]

I don't mean like off, I mean like, it's looks like a real squirrel rather than a Housepetsian squirrel.Argent wrote:I think that was the first full strip after a style change, right after Rick was sick.SuperStar wrote:On the matter of that one, doesn't the squirrel looks proportionally off?Dissension wrote: [Seasons Greetings]

You mean, it looks like a Gallifraxian squirrel?SuperStar wrote:I don't mean like off, I mean like, it's looks like a real squirrel rather than a Housepetsian squirrel.
I noticed that at the time. It was suspicious enough for comment:

Oh, some nice squirrels. Eheh, they're going nuts because of the lacking of nuts stock. Whoa, what a fatty one! I got a suspect of where the nuts are now... You say to share equally the blame? Exactly like you did with the nuts, right? It's you who's going to get all the blame!

Re: 2017/04/26 - In The Nuthouse
you sure that's a squirel, and not a small dog in a disguise or something? because the weight tolerance of her skeleton should not allow her to be THAT disproportionately heavy. Correcting for what's shoulder and what's upper arm blending into everything else, her shoulder width appears to be 2/5 the width of her belly, A human that disproportionate would have a hard time just standing let alone moving and be in constant danger of breaking bones.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

So, anyway, this cartoon is why you never trust someone who says split the check evenly until AFTER you've ordered.
