Passing jokes and charm to his girl
with a sweetness that makes her tail curl.
It’s done him well, this night out,
reminding him what freedom’s all about
and, when it ends in the late night,
he’ll be ready to fight a father’s fight.
It’s nice to se him relaxed and happy
- even if it does mean he’s gone all sappy -
The film, food and company made him laugh,
To finish the evening, a nice, long, hot, bath?

No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.
