Never been to one of those dollar theaters, honestly. And I don't think they should get the syrup. Hard enough to get off of bare skin.

King and the lady,
out for the night.
Seeing something shady
under a light so bright.
Avoiding copyright
by dropping letters.
Popcorn by the bag
He’s got his, she’ll get hers.
It’s a cheap night,
chock full of romance.
Now, maybe, we’ll see
if King recalls how to dance...

Ok, a couple of things:
Their playing Zootopia and Jungle Book? Now that I think about it, those two movies would look and feel a lot different in the HPU.
Second, is the popcorn served in trash bags?
Third, as long as the bags are clean, just take it. That's a LOT of popcorn!
Fourth, HOLY COW! I don't care if its served in a dirty dumpster, no theater would serve two giant servings of popcorn for only $1.
Finally, if Bailey wants to get soda syrup, let her. You don't have to have any King.

Holy crap, two trash bags, full of popcorn, for just one dollar? That sounds awesome (assuming the trash bags are clean and unused, at least)! Even if you can't get a proper drink with it. I'd totally go to a theater like that. I'd just have to remember to grab a 44 ounce fountain drink from the nearest gas station first.

That much popcorn for a buck?! I wish that was real! Though it being in a trash bag... That's not very good

Zootopia would be subversive as heck, when you think about it.CyberDragon wrote:Their playing Zootopia and Jungle Book? Now that I think about it, those two movies would look and feel a lot different in the HPU.
Also live action.

Two things I"m trying very hard to get out of my mind: what a mosquito hat would look like, and a real-life theater full of burping dogs
Really? I thought it was Bungle Nook. Good to see the theater has a No Spraying policy tooSirRayBarker wrote:Think it must be the jungle bookHellishK9 wrote:Okay, so Zootopia is playing. Don't know what the second one is tho.

Uhhhhhhh... I think that popcorn is probably VERY stale. (Hence the price.)
We don't have a $1 movie theater, but the cheapest theater around home is only $3. It only has one screen, seeing how it was built when my grandfather (born in 1913) was a child. They recently updated the screen and projector to digital. (Not really by choice; the film companies aren't making rolls of film anymore, so it's become, "Update or go out of business.") We also still have a Drive-in movie theater in my area, and the entrance price is $7.
Both theaters are well run and maintained. The Drive-in has a grass lot, and it's always well mowed and clean. It's worth a visit if you're in South West Wisconsin on a weekend in the summer.http://richlandmovies.com/starlite.html
The $3 theater is in Boscobel, Wisconsin. The floor is mopped between showings, so it doesn't have the stereotypical sticky floor of cheap theaters. The Blaine Theater has fresh popcorn, but I don't remember the price. I think the large tub is somewhere around $5.

That much popcorn for a dollar is insane. I worked at a movie theater for a while so I looking forward to some relatable jokes.
Re: 2017/03/17 - Corny
That popcorn is OBVIOUSLY for raccoons. What is this movie theater up to?
Also, why does Bailey want syrup on her popcorn? 0_0 EDIT: Oh, only syrup from the soda machine. that's better but still gross

Just occurred to me that Zootopia came out on March 4th. pretty close to the anniversary date.
Glad to finally get a Zootopia reference in this comic. <3
Now just to see how much itcorrupts influences King and Bailey :3

And finally they arrived at the theatre, but King has to complain also about that. Good movies choice, Bailey, and anyway, that board needs a fix. Wow, that's a lot of popcorn for only one dollar. Shame for the lacking of soda for this time. Eheh, for Bailey is good every food mix. Enjoy your night without thinking about the puppies!

I feel like these are two movies that would be very different in the Housepets! universe.
