Title Text: that's not how this works! That's not how any of this works!
Isn't it nice when you see people who get each other?

Hold up, how much do Pomeranians weigh?

Hovering down, into town,
Tarot decides to Pop in.
It’s her way to get around
And it helps with the shopping.
Drifting down, to the street,
Right in front of King.
He doesn’t even consider her;
I guess she’s not his thing.
Tarot Poppins is ready
For a spoonful of magic,
But she’s not ready for pups;
a matter that’s really tragic.

Simple. People pay attention to Pomeranians flying through the air on umbrellas. It's news.

Mary Poppinses? Who'd believe that?

That is adorable I wonder if she uses the purse for anything or if it's for the costume. However, then I have to question if it's a costume at all, or does she just like to dress like that.

This one made me laugh for like, 5 minutes straight. I don't even know why. I think it's just the silly visuals and the implication that she was just casually carried away by the wind

Though while on the topic of Marry Poppins jokes, one could say she was up to the atmosphere. Ya know, up where the air is clear?

Rick ya done messed up. Kari Poppins sounds better that Tarot Poppins, and it would be very much in character for him.
and I'm sure he could have found a way to fly.
but I guess that would be too predictable since I predicted it.

King and Bailey would both know better than to leave their kids in the care of Karishad... especially as soon as the first words to the puppies would be "Ever play cornhole before, kids?". Rex might be a winner for this one (given past references to his at home life and hobbies). Though if supernatural beings aren't excluded, then Cerberus would win.

Wasn't expecting that reference. XD

I like how she didn't bother asking about the sitter job, like her psychic abilities still had strength.

This was awesome. love the reference. Tarot is very light :3

Sucks Tarot won't be babysitting, though. She probably would raise the pups to become famous. X3

So it's gotta be at least Grape or Peanut. or Both.

Oh lord. I don't mind that Kari may be the mortal incarnation/avatar of some Eldritch trickster god or demon, I don't mind that he bends the laws of time, space and sense. But trying to impersonate a cockney accent to the same calibre that Dick Van little drummer boy did, that is some Stephen King-level horror right there

What? Ahahah! Such a funny reference! :D Tarot "Poppins" can fly with an umbrella on a windy day? You used again the magic(k), can't be otherwise. :P Yeah, better you go away, Tarot, because I don't see you as a patient puppies sitter. ;) Come on King, you'll find the good sitter for you, don't give up. :)

Would this be a good time to admit that while I get the reference, I've never sat down to watch Mary Poppins?

I can't blame you there... I still WISH that I could go back in time and find a way to skip out on watching stuff like this (and every single musical our music teachers ever forced us to watch).

My dad met some young pomeranians. He said one weighed like 6lbs and the other was 3lbs. If you hand tarot an umbrella, she will fly, though I don't know what an adult would weigh.

She could be Shary Bobbins, yes?

Also, an umbrella can barely support itself in a strong wind. Add any weight at all and it won't get off the ground.

I could see that.

Panels one through three: Karishad floats down.
Panel four: Karishad smiles at King
Panel five: Karishad continues to smile, and King gives a resounding "No."

I like the one Rick went with better though, because the fourth and fifth panels both have a punch to them as opposed to the fourth and fifth just being slightly more humourous than the first three.

... Speaking of which, this arc has gone into a more traditional set of scenes hasn't it? Who's next to visit King?
