Well we can see that Mungo is someone with a lot of... let's call it energy. He's awesome.
Re: 2016/07/07 - Making An Adjustment
It was as I feared, he's a hugger. Fox, keep your chiropractor's number on hand. Or the ER.

Re: 2016/07/07 - Making An Adjustment
So he’s a hugger, this mighty Mungo,
Of the ‘love ‘em and crush ‘em’ type.
The one consolation for our Fox
Is Chiropody’s gone up the pipe.
Mungo’s blazed his saddle
From K9 to SWAT and back;
He cost them too much cash
And gave their walls a crack.
A powerful new ally for Fox
As they leave the home quad
The important question now…
Will he fight Keene’s ‘goon squad’?
(They're bound to be... irritated. Any mistakes could see a fight. Or they could be guilty.)

I love Mungo already!
By the way, what type of breed of dog is Mungo?

Well, I guess that's one way to get your back cracked. At least they don't ever need to worry about being mugged or Mungo not being able to lift the manhole up in case they have to save a kitten.
You see that shiny thing there? It's mine. Don't touch it!
Re: 2016/07/07 - Making An Adjustment
That's great, Mungo, but the manhole cover is over here. Put the street back. carefully.

You'd figure Kevin and Mungo would make a great duo, maybe Mungo is too strong and reckless for Kevin to handle.Xane wrote:Hmm, I wonder what happened when Mungo tried to tackle Kevin, or vice versa... (you know it happened at some point)

Such an excitable doggy! He is going to be a fun one I think.
Re: 2016/07/07 - Making An Adjustment
You know this guy is a real descendant of Satau when he starts thinking Grape has the soul of a dog. :3
That being said, wonder how long Fox knew Mungo?

I enjoy Mungo. He seems like he'll be a great character.
Also, I'm glad to see the transparent background back. I was a little worried about the new site and format, something felt off. I think it was the fact that the background was white. This comic seems much more like a Housepets comic to me than the last one did, and I think that's why. I guess I'll easily adjust to the new format.
Now I just need to get used to the only two a week update thing.

I wonder whats gonna happen when Mungo meets Kevin? I think Kevin would try to tackle him, but fails and Mungo would just think he needs a hug.

Perhaps Bino (still hear Beano...) could give him a referral?D-Rock wrote:It was as I feared, he's a hugger. Fox, keep your chiropractor's number on hand. Or the ER.
Dag nabbed petty annoyances...

Oh yes, his name isn't pronounced Beano, I keep forgetting that.TheOne wrote:Perhaps Bino (still hear Beano...) could give him a referral?D-Rock wrote:It was as I feared, he's a hugger. Fox, keep your chiropractor's number on hand. Or the ER.
Nah, Fox just needs to start wearing a suit of cement and bubble wrap. This will keep him safe.

They would probably catch the bad guy (well tackle him at least) but I'm pretty sure half the town would be in ruins by that point!gamepopper wrote: You'd figure Kevin and Mungo would make a great duo, maybe Mungo is too strong and reckless for Kevin to handle.
I thought about changing my signature but decided against it, it's too much work!
Re: 2016/07/07 - Making An Adjustment
Ahahah, hey, put a brake to your enthusiasm, Mungo! Poor Fox's back, Mungo succeeded to make it hurt despite how much buff he became. So, Mungo is back at K-9, because of doors damaging issues at SWAT? Eheh, alright, then. Nice humour, Fox. I guess it's not his only trouble, I'm expecting many other gags from him.
The first panel is epic!

Well today's comic didn't show any quality issues so as long as it keeps up I like the new format

Why do I imagine Mungo now with a slightly high pitched voice? It would kinda fit to him
I just love it, that Mungo got introduced before he got a name
Right side, third row.
I really love small details like that
If I had to guess, I would say Great Dane. I even found on the wikipedia page a picture of a Great Dane with cropped ears and see it yourselfSaturn381 wrote:I love Mungo already!

Hehe, "Making An Adjustment." To Fox's spine, the station, or the format of the comic itself? By the way, already liking the new style, especially the extra detail on the noses.

Hmm, Mungo kind of reminds me of myself a bit, one of the reasons I don't really "get excited" much... Also why I try to not get angry either, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
But seriously looks to be a fun character, almost thought they were a girl on the first page they were in but given how some of the other female cast are designed
I'm guessing that Mungo is a guy until stated otherwise.
Side Note: Does it looks like Mungos' tag disappears in the last two panels to anyone else or just me?

A side benefit is that the automatic doors are also handicap compliant.

3 stars, 4 stars, 2 stars huh?
... Oh, I'm sorry... I'm just kinda used to looking at minute details and hoping they become relevant, too many modern cartoons.
I love that wag wag annotation.

You know, if i lived in BG, i'd probably keep calling Bino, Al. Just to see how long it would take him to get the joke.KingFan13 wrote:Oh yes, his name isn't pronounced Beano, I keep forgetting that.TheOne wrote:Perhaps Bino (still hear Beano...) could give him a referral?D-Rock wrote:It was as I feared, he's a hugger. Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Anyway, so I guess we can consider this guy the strongest so far, as any other powerful character aren't a walking hazard. Or he's just poorly restrained.
