Wow, that third panel, man.

Also, I need to check out Firefly. All I hear is that it's practically a crime that it only got one season. Quite a claim.

In Heaven's realm,
that great Whedon show
never left the air.
but Fillon didn't, though,
make Castle there
Some things can't be fair.
Cerberus knocks,
upon the roof,
demanding attention,
promising proof,
failing to remain aloof.
Mom's got to let him go
to see what Cerb will show;
but one thing he'll always know.
In heaven? Mom's glow.

So TV shows don't get cancelled in Heaven? If that's the case, I wonder how many seasons Twin Peaks got up there. Even with the revival coming up next year, just one more season taking off right after the final episode would be fantastic.

It's swings and roundabouts. As I put it, if Nathan Fillion was still being Captain Reynolds, he'd not have the time to be the star in Castle. And, for a fair few, the latter is better than the former.

Between Keene's name, Firefly and maybe Undertale references as well, does anyone else get the impression that ferretmom is actually a huge nerd?

You know... Seeing Keene in a new light like this is really something. Its changed my whole opinion of the Ferret... We are so used to him as the antagonist in situations but really were starting to see that he was never really the villain he wanted everyone to think he was. He was just so driven to fulfill Mr. Miltions goal that he was willing to sacrifice everything to achieve it. If anything perhaps he was corrupted by that dream, becoming so obsessed with completing it yet making so little progress that he began to sacrifice his morals and even the well being of others to achieve it.

Or perhaps i'm just digging too deeply now and what we are really seeing is that he wasn't always the self absorbed power-hungry ferret we have seen for so long.

It COULD be Keenan Milton, a professional skateboarder who died in 2001.

Well, she could have played Undertale in Heaven :p. I'm sure they have a director's cut deluxe edition there, or something.
Also, as far as know it's a reference to Kevin Keene. Check the other names as well (Kid Icarus is Pit, and apparently Megaman was originally named "Rockman").

Argent wrote: Mr. Milton may have given him that name.
He could have, but it gets a bit weird then - in that case his mom greets Keene by the name she didn't know when she was alive with him. It could have also be the petstore owner who named all the ferrets.
I'm not insisting it's true, it's just an impression.

Argent wrote:Now I want to see Keene on a skateboard.

I'm sure he'd manage.

Hey, Cerberus! :P Come on, you can't disturb their privacy, and in that unexpected way. ;) Anyway, I'm curious to see what you've found for Keene, but yes, he shouldn't be afraid now... Keene, you need to go ahead, it's not the time for you to stay in that place. :) But, you mom doesn't seem to help you wanting to do that. :P So typical. ;) Blushed tiny Keene is so cute. :D

Howl yeah, it's a crime. It was a space western (created and written by Joss Whedon) and was pretty much sabotaged—purposefully or otherwise—by FOX; it was placed in the "Friday night death slot" and the network aired the pilot last.

In Heaven, time has little to no meaning, so Fillion could be in two places at once. Then again, the denizens of Heaven could probably will the thing into existence, so there's probably no need for actors. Also, Castle is joining Firefly there; its finale was on Monday.

Zion is just another simulation, the real world is another level "down the rabbit hole" and it's a jungle planet (and probably not even Earth)... and Neo is The One because he actually died but his mind was uploaded into an Agent.

Actually, a few graphic novels were released (officially, I might add), continuing the story and answering some lingering questions Serenity didn't.
