But what about your father's dream Keene?

Also, Monty Python Reference? But where's the spam? :lol:

Knowledge of his fate brought no comfort,
Rather it replaced concern with fear.
A mournful and wasted life there
isn't equivalent to a good one here.
More questions than answers tell,
More peace than he can allow;
The truth is a pain he can tell;
the facts are a trough he must plough.
He still seeks the answers to fate
and Cerb faces her worst guest;
is there some reason for him to be there
or is he now just Heaven's pest?

Did Keene disappear or run away? It looks like he disappeared. How?

Nah, I believe he simply wandered off while Cerberus was thinking out loud. The visual effect would be there to make it clear he was just in that spot a second ago.
What could possibly go wrong...?

Well, crap, Cerberus, look what you did. You took him out too early and now not only did he not get the info that you brought him there for, but he's lost all hope for the purpose he had in life. Good job.

Still, out of "The 4 Animals You Meet In Heaven" so far we're only up to two (Would Cerberus count? Not sure, but it would seem that Breel was number one). He may not necessarily be an animal, but I do hope one of the remaining two is Mr. Milton. Best place to get your purpose rekindled when it's faltering is from the guy you got it from in the first place after all.

Personally Cerberus I would have checked the hall of records first.

And now on to the third. Also, Cerberus, how long did you have your previous job of not letting people out of Tartarus? How did you just let him slip?

Yep, they were the two animals so far. The strips where Breel and Cerberus appeared in the arc were named "First" and "Second" respectively.
What could possibly go wrong...?

Now I wonder. I'm sure Bahamut would be one of the remaining two animals.
Also poor Keene gave up all will to fight after seeing paradise :cry:
Could mean paradise has his flaws too or he is just too early to be there.

I'm betting the next Animal he sees is a certain wise-cracking, multi-tailed, gamekeeper.... (I forgot what his real rolet in Heaven is outside of the game, sorry)

Daw, Panel #2...

Sad Keene is sad.

<gauntlet voice>
Brown ferret needs hugs, badly.
Brown ferret is about to... wait, he already did.
</gauntlet voice>

OR DID HE?

OK, updated prediction for Rick to shoot down: he's actually asleep/in a coma in the car. Animals 3 and 4 get him more grounded and revved up again, and he wakes back to Earth (surrounded by paramedics or in a hospital bed) still committed but mellow and willing to live a bit more.

If he starts getting electrocuted out of nowhere in Heaven, you'll know why. That's how it went down in Bruce Almighty.

Is Keene out hiding behind...

THE LARCH?
The animated signature I've used for years is too big for this forum! When I get time, I'll have to deconstruct it and make it smaller!

Indeed, it's impossible that Keene is satisfied, looking at the difficulties he was having on Earth... Poor Keene, don't let you down, your battle is important for you and for others... :( Yeah, Heaven should be a better world, but you renounce your life for it, and it's still not the time for you... :| Eheh, Cerberus, you three need to discuss together for all the things. :D You can't do two different things at the same time. :P But, yeah, where Keene gone now? :?

I'm loving the Monty Python references. Perhaps a late parrot will be seen in the background?

Breel was introduced in "The First" and Cerb showed up in "The Second", so it stands to reason that the comic that introduces each animal to the arc is titled "The Nth". If Henry is indeed one of the four, he'll probably be the fourth and final one.

*Facepalms at Cerberus*

That's total job losing potential there! He could want to start a band in Heaven! D:
