Yay, the kangaroos are back!
Re: 2016/01/06 - In Hot Water
Well, they boiled the fish. Maybe they should have made sure there wasn't anything in there first.
Also, it's been a really long time since we've seen Gambit.

Re: 2016/01/06 - In Hot Water
The Boys spring into winter
by jumping in the pool.
It’s not how they should do it
But it’s better warm than cool.
Gambit should really approve
Of water warmth above freezing
As, the last time we saw him,
It was into Ice he was squeezing.
The Boys broke their heater
And they’ll break this one too;
If you want them to get a new one
Fund it. Buy a ticket to the zoo.

Is the "steamy situation" pun an appropiate pun ?

So do Gambit and Tarmac trade the shell between each other? Because in their last appearance (two years ago to the day), Tarmac's the one wearing it.
Always nice to see the roos, though.

Aww happy roo is cute roo! Knowing Squeak has a "thing" for paws, I bet she'd be in heaven if she saw those Kangaroo feet.
Also nice to see otters.

panel two is definitely the most adorable thing I saw this year
On the other hand the year is still young
Still I really like it, it's cuteness gold

I personally would like to see Kirishad again. He's my favorite character because he is so dangerously oblivious.
Re: 2016/01/06 - In Hot Water
Is it just me, or does it seem like their requirement to talk in a fake accent/phrases for visitors is starting to actually affect them?

I just thought it was the phrases they had to fake.Wolfbane wrote:Is it just me, or does it seem like their requirement to talk in a fake accent/phrases for visitors is starting to actually affect them?

Re: 2016/01/06 - In Hot Water
*shrugs* It's a webcomic so accents are non-existant, but I can't imagine they'd be forced to use those phrases and not also have to do a fake accent.gamepopper wrote:I just thought it was the phrases they had to fake.Wolfbane wrote:Is it just me, or does it seem like their requirement to talk in a fake accent/phrases for visitors is starting to actually affect them?

I love those roos, they are awesome and I admit, I adore how Rick drew the paws <3
Re: 2016/01/06 - In Hot Water
The roos do their appearing again, very nice! And they're having a good time. Eh, now I would be in an hot pool, too... Oh, well, Tarmac is right. He doesn't sound against your use of his pool, but he didn't want it so hot. There were fishes in it? Oh no, they're all dead. That was the reason... Well, for today you otters have an hot dinner.

I wonder how long they had to stay like that until somebody eventually realized what was wrong?
At least they didn't go hypothermic...

Re: 2016/01/06 - In Hot Water
Well, we know Bruce (and I assume Roosevelt as well) was born in Australia, so he probably does have an Australian accent. It just won't be the ridiculous accent of the Outback Steakhouse guy or what have you, which is probably what they do for the guestsWolfbane wrote:Is it just me, or does it seem like their requirement to talk in a fake accent/phrases for visitors is starting to actually affect them?
Re: 2016/01/06 - In Hot Water
No actual Australian has ever said "throw another shrimp on the barbie" unironically. Ever.
The rest is 100% fair dinkum, cobbers.

Wow, has it really, actually being two whole years since we last saw that otter?!
Back in the zoo it seems.Saturn381 wrote:Yay, the kangaroos are back!
Why not? Barbie is a nice doll, she deserves another shrimp, don't hog them for yourself.Argent wrote:No actual Australian has ever said "throw another shrimp on the barbie" unironically. Ever.
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

Ice and fire magic? Does that result in a freezer-burn?

I'm tempted to google if that's what macropod feet really look like

Admit it, you used Hlaoroo's guide to "Strayan" (as drawn by Hukley) for the "fair dinkum" part.Argent wrote:No actual Australian has ever said "throw another shrimp on the barbie" unironically. Ever.
