Well, he's only the second avatar, he doesn't seem to have the power for a teleport spell to begin with. But wouldn't Dragon notice a bit of mana suddenly going missing?

And of course the question would be asked by Peanut.

He's also pretty clearly a class that's neither Tarot's or Sabrina's, so it may just be his class' limitations. I don't think Bailey had a teleport spell, she was merely poofed to the battlefield by Pete himself.
