Funny fact, this actually happened to me (me being the one being mugged)

Looks like Bino is naked again, too bad he can't hold a censor bar over his neck while mugging someone
It's quite amazing how a character can look naked simply by removing their collar.

Well this isn't gonna end well for Bino. At all.

Wow, talk about "hungry like the wolf."

I can see how this plan will be bad already. Bino, somehow I don't think Jack will stick around in case things go wrong.

Now I'm curious, this how Jack lost his arm, or did it happen later? Maybe he was a great thief even before he lost his arm.

Elaine implied it was from trying to fix the garbage disposal. Since Jack is a habitual liar and I have no reason not to think that of Elaine, I think she's telling the truth.

This is quite possibly the stupidest thing he has ever done.

I think she was just teasing him, cause that would mean that he lost his arm after moving into Babylon Gardens.

This whole strip is just asking for trouble xD
First off, stealing something from a Human won't end well.
Second off, Bino giving his collar away means that if he is caught he'll be deemed a stray and thrown into the pound.
Third off, His growling stomach will probably give him away.

Also, his neck doesn't look that bad here.

Oh! It's not everyday we get to a place outside of the wilderness, or some character's house.

Ok now that he is collarless he will be caught and like Keene will be forgotten for a while.

If Bino gets thrown into the pound, will they notify the K9 squad?

OK, Bino's desire makes him a dumb ol' hound
and Jack's plan will take him to the ol' pound
Where he'll see all the worst he can see -
the occupants will show him how bad it can be.
Bino's forever maligning his mere luck
in a way that would make the occupants upchuck
Complaining on the wrong sort of given meat
is nothing to those dying on their feet.
And what is Jack planning for his stooge?
He's a bandit, meaner than old Uncle Scrooge.
What will happen if he's caught stealing?
A life behind bars is hardly appealing...

Am I the only one concerned about who these two pencil-necks are stealing from? Cause I'm expecting Bino to actually try and take something from officer Bill

Bino: Yes it does! The stuff in dumpsters is legal property of Waste Management!

Jack: Okay, I'll let it slide. So what do you have?

Bino: (staring into bag) Chocolate doughnuts.

All right, I was wrong. Bino and Jack aren't teaming up. Jack's trying to play Bino.

Oh, looks like I was right when I said I thought the fourth test was stealing something.

Wonder what will happen to Bino. Knowing him, he will probably get caught.

Not a good thing to happen without a collar...

My first reaction to this was that Jack is messing with Bino, just trying to get him into trouble for his own amusement. However, with Jack's vigor for theft, it would make sense as to why he so badly wanted the fourth test to be taken by Bino and the other cubs.

If Bino succeeds, my guess is that Jack will credit Bino with the theft, but will secretly keep it for his little black market.
If he doesn't succeed, it'd be funny if he's arrested by new K-9 recruit Fox.

Call me distrustful, but I have the sneaking suspicion that's not the real fourth test.

Whooo boy. I can see two things: Bino getting a criminal record for this and/or the wolves getting themselves into a part of the law that the miltons will be having a hard time to recover from.

I also suspect that Duchess will hear about this and take advantage of it.

Plot twist: Bino succeeds. Him and Jack are best friends and they steal all your pants. (for their wallets)

He really should had quit after the whole bear thing. Truth be told, I didn't think the ark would go on for this long.

I do see it as Bino getting a criminal record and Jack getting things to sell. Then maybe Bino will be in the pound, say that Jack told him to do it, and Jack will deny everything.

But he's not wearing anything! What can he steal, his dignity? That got lost several strips ago.

Either Bino's rumbling tummy is going to sound like he's growling at someone or someone will take pity on him and give him food - that's my guess.

I wonder what Jack was think in the third panel that made him feel shocked?

He could be dog-napped, or Bino takes said person to Jack. Be like "Jack, I need my collar back."

Is it too much to hope that somehow Bino double-crosses Jack?

You probably should. But I don't have a wallet; I have a checkbook, and I normally keep it in my jacket's pocket, so I can't judge.

Uh-oh, the fourth test against humans is that: steal their stuff. Practically it's what Jack still uses to do. Really all the wolves did that? Bad wolves hands... Anyway, it's nice from Jack to help Bino, somehow, but let's see if he'll do something epic also this time, or if he'll really break some bones now instead of some law. Aaah! Naked Bino, again! Censor it! Now we see his pencil-like neck, again! Poor Bino's tummy, go steal some food, instead. But, what's unbelievable is the fact that the fat Daryl tummy can growl so loudly... It's a bottomless pit!

Oh boy, it's come to this: Grand Theft Bino. But yeah, after what he's endured- a night in the wilderness and all- I'd be as hungry as OD too...
You know, I wonder at this point if Bino even remembers why he originally went on this whole endeavor in the first place.

He remembers he wants to become an honorary wolf all too well!

Well, when you are right you are right. That would totally hook me in.

I'm just glad the last test didn't involve sacrificing a "skinling" to the fur god.

i think it would be kinda funny if we had another "character is left behind somewhere" plot with bino at the end of this arc, but instead of someone bailing him out, when we check on him again he's somehow taken over the pound from the inside via vaguely explained noodle incident that occurred off screen. just for the sake of seeing the other character's reactions.

Also because it would mean the one time Bino accomplishes something no one from BG is there to see it, not even the audience.

I can see Jeff, being sort of a jerk (almost as much as Pete) just leaving him there for a few days after telling the owners not to let him get adopted.
