The crafty Duchess returns,
seeking a sheep to draw out a Fox.
Her plans to control the mass
but not using her own soap box.
She has all the desire to rule
but none to be seen up at the top.
Bino obliges for his own skin
and the ears that, otherwise, she'd crop.
In her hostile quest for power
she's gone from King to dog leader;
just proving one true thing -
the Duchess is an evil little bleeder.

Pound. Shaped like an L from the latin "libra", meaning, well, 1 lbs (one pound)

...Somehow, I feel this will end up being "the arc in which Bino loses everything he thought he had." Possibly "the arc in which Peanut or Fox gets elected chairdog of the Good Ol Dogs Club." because that's just how karmic backlash works....

Yay! Bino arc! That paranoid puppy is my favorite character! Duchess, not so much. She doesn't really love Bino, just wants to have a reputation cause he's a cute dog. Wonder what happens when she finds out he's not purebred.

My initial thought is that with the title "Wolf's clothing" that maybe the Milton Wolves are gonna be involved? Then again we had a wolf centric arc not too long ago so not too sure.

If Duchess starts pulling some kind of scam on Fox, that's going to bring in King and Bailey.

It's also the British unit of currency. As Duchess is a rank in British Nobility (and it wouldn't surprise if she was British as every American series needs a British baddie) I'm taking it as currency.

OH YAY! Great to see Bino again. This arc should be good. He knows that Fox isn't afraid to hurt him.

Love his expression in the last panel.

I love Bino's character, I hope to see some interaction with Fox this arc. Maybe he loses his seat as president of the GoD club, that would be interesting to see. I am looking forward to this arc.

Also, I didn't know the club had a newspaper, was this shown before? I really need to reread the entire thing...

Well, yes, but rather inflated. Currently a pound of silver is £182.56, which weighs a little less than half a pound if you paid it out in pound notes.

Edit: I may be a little off there, since they would have been using troy ounces and pounds, and not imperial ounces and pounds.

...Bino is a lot smarter than we thought, it seems. And guessing from the arc title, Duchess will likely goad Bino in forcing Fox to vote, like the opposite of being in sheep's clothing, since Bino obviously doesn't want to do something like that.

Not sure on the whip, but he has been introduced to Bailey's fist.
And Fox's fist.
And the Milton Manor floor.
And a frying pan.
And Grape's claws.

Funny, I thought that Spot story was gonna carry on for the rest of the week. Why do new arcs start on Wednesdays anyway?

But back to this story, I get the feeling that things will not end very well for Bino (despite him possibly deserving it). I mean, the arc's title can perfectly describe how Bino is like (a sheep in wolf's clothing), pretending to be something he's not. This arc might serve as some kind of redemption for him.

It's going to be a funny and interesting arc with this couple, we still know too little of how's going with them.

The club is indeed failed without a chairdog, but then, who else could replace Fido? Anyway, it's pretty surprising that it still has founds to print a newspaper.

That's a good idea, Bino, but should be enough do a voting to make Duchess the new leader. Don't count anymore on Fox.

Poor pup, so the club members can get violent...

Thanks for the specification, Bino, but we well know how you down yourself to Duchess (and others). It's a protecting move, though.

Wow. Rick finally did what I thought only fanfic writers could do: make me feel bad for Bino. Duchess was downright cruel in telling him that he was stupid and forcing him to agree with her. That's a bit of emotional abuse. Forget what I thought about Bino deserving everything that is thrown at him, just once I want him to come out on top and to ditch Duchess like a bad rash.
