Oh, has Housepets had some kind of anniversary? I hadn't noticed.

But seriously, folks, congratulations on this milestone!

Someone who's name rhymes with missention?

......

Sauron wrote the commentary text?! Awesome, I thought he was dead!

Congratulations a thousand times over, Mr. Griffin, here is to a million strips more (unless you want to take a break again, of course!), and may the fox be with you.
Nanu Nanu.
Pills and Posterity.
Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

Wait, what?
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

I'm telling you, hyenas ARE canines too!

Yeah I don't understand that either, but then again I fail at math forever. 24 more strips would be 1,024 or am I missing something?

So that was it. I have sat here pondering what that was for ages.
Silly Zealot I don't think what you said about Sauron was a spoiler, because he was dead to begin with in the fellowship and Hobbit because the purpose of the ring was to resurrect him. You know you can still see what is in the black spots by quoting them. Hahahaha.
A thousand strips is a lot but is it really a thousand of his, has he subtracted the guest comics and short stories. Was the aborted strip with the catnip counted seeing as it was up for 7 or 9 hours before being removed. Ok now I am just being a spoil sport, party pooper, THAT GUY.
So happy centennial Rick.

Anyone else feel this way, or am I the only one?
I found the comic on the 1st of august so I was realy confused whenever I came back to read it from the start and see them on a plane and then in Perth Australia. And I rushed a bit to catch up so I never looked at the older forums or comments section, which is why I had to ask about things like are Bruce and Roosevelt both boys and other previously answered questions.
I remember when I picked up the comic, it was with Peanut being kissed by Grape. So yeah, I guess I do feel that way. But starting later just means you have more material to review. 1,000 comics in fact!
I have a feeling Rick isn't even close to halfway done with housepets. Here's to another good year.
One thing I've wondered since joining, is it nessisary to add the '!' to 'Housepets!' ;P

Probably not seeing as the definition of an exclamation mark is "a sudden cry or remark expressing surprise, strong emotion, or pain". It's their to seperate the comic from every other web page that discusses pets I believe. If Star Wars was spelt as: star, wars you would still say it a Star Wars without the pause in between. Ok now I am just rambling on.
In the end it probably isn't necessary. Well until Rick or Dissension inevitably posts to contradict me.

Wowie wow-wow! A grand of grand comics. Congrats to Rick Griffin!

Referring to the title, what would the subsequent O and the other M be for?

Congrats Rick, and thanks for all your hard work on Housepets! I loved this arc, and this was a great ending.
