Well, What will we have next? We've seen a Giant Whale, a 3 headed dog, a Griffin, a dragon, a multi-tailed dog... What's next?

I don't think it counts when they aren't actually in space and are instead in a completely metaphysical location.WhoElseButQuagmire wrote:Guess we can add another trope.... Batman (Corgis) Can Breathe In Space.

Though not exactly from nowhere. I see that Bahamut likes to keep things fresh. And good thing that he seems like the patient type.

+1 for the mention. I didn't get into the video game scene until the "portable" version of the first PlayStation came around. Even then we never had many games, so I never got to play the Zelda series.Hukley wrote:Hehe, I love Kings reaction!

Does it bug anyone else that the main thing said here is "I hate you"? Even if the almighty tells you you're not in trouble...
?
I can see that JoeKing would think that, and I can see how he would say it, but...really?
...at least it's out of the way now and we can get down to business...hopefully.
Dag nabbed petty annoyances...

Woah! King just leaps off the screen in that second panel there! Particularly well done dynamics on that one
And I love the detail in the infinite reaches of the universe.

He can change form anytime he wants. Kind of like Pete's shirt. And he probably didn't want to make King even more nervous than he already was.Vuk91 wrote:Wait... Wasnt Bahamut a dragon?

Yes and no. Bahamut is the name of a dragon in D&D, but in Arabian culture it is the name of a vast fish that supports the earth. (mythology nerd for the win)Vuk91 wrote:Wait... Wasnt Bahamut a dragon?

Hmm, one hour and almost off the first page. Wow.
Our little King needs no help to hate,
he's lived in the state most of his life.
It cost him his freedom and his species
and now it may cost him his wife.
Now he has his chance to plead his case
under the gods' giant, watchful, eye.
The mightiest is impressed with honesty,
as, unlike Whales, in heaven lies don't fly.
He's not stunned, our Mighty hero,
as he steps into the Fortune Teller's booth.
He's worried and, possibly, having a tantrum,
as his battle for his beloved begins
right up high on heaven's top podium.

You are going to see the weak justification, you are going to watch the praises the fans give to the character's speech, you are going to look at how everybody accepts the explanation as legit, and you are going to love it!IceKitsune wrote:...Really? This makes me wonder what Bahamut normally looks like, or what he normally likes to look like. If it's this, does that make Satoru Iwata god of Housepets?

I feel like Bahamut is one of the top tier gods. I mean judging by his decor and the fact that he seems to be floating in something like space but in Heaven instead, I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the top tier ones. Seems like the Housepets universe would have more than one god. Dunno though.Wolfbane wrote:This makes me wonder what Bahamut normally looks like, or what he normally likes to look like.
