[ So It's More of a Ceasefire ]

Title Text: Technically, it's Pete's fault for not explaining the rules in full detail (IT WAS SHORT NOTICE OKAY?!)

And now we complain to the suit manufacturer that by having a removable helmet they're somehow liable for being kicked in the face.

Wait, so why didn't he just bring King along anyway? If it was because the spell would expire then he could have extended it, its his spell after all. King would have clearly agreed to help out since, you know its his wife in trouble. I don't see why he couldn't have agreed after the fight started what difference would it make at that point, heck Pete could have explained before the match started and Bailey signed the contract, or while she was signing it or when she was transforming, or when they were saying good bye to each other. I think its pretty clear Pete is terrible at this game and planing in general.

The more I read of this storyarc, the more I want King to end Pete and return to living with Bailey. King deserves to live with Bailey and Pete is just being selfish and rude to him (I sounded childish there, didn't I?). Though now I have a small theory: Maybe The Great Kistune and Dragon knows what Pete's true intentions are (Just a wild guess on my part) and are just waiting for King to show up and they all team up to end Pete. I don't know..all I do know is that I don't want to see anything happen to King or Bailey or their marriage

as Tarot pulls Sabrina out of the hat.

as King fights for the right to get in.

as thing's don't go how Pete planned...

Pete's true intentions are to win this duel so he can control his gaming group. None of this is sinister.

Yeah seems shes not afraid to turn on her friends. Ironic since she and Tarot arranged everything for King and Fox to find. I do hope its all part of the plan.

Ok, I get that there's time out and time in, but seriously? In mid-air? One more thing: is it a rule in D&D that once an avatar is gained a match can be forced? I mean, Dragon's been training her avatar(s) for years, and Bailey gets what, a week? Doesn't seem fair...
It'd be interesting to see Keene step onto the sidelines as Bailey's healer or something. Then we'd see that he's putting that mana to good use.

That should make sense however; I would think that since Sabrina knows about Keene helping Pete that Tarot and Dragon would also be aware of this. If he is then I have to question Tarots line in the last panel.

I remember the last time I played D&D with a few of my friends, we didn't like this one kid. So one day we killed his character and stripped him naked and left him under a bench out side of a bar... not that they should do this to Bailey, but they should at least turn Pete into a tree, it worked out for us in the long run. I'm just saying teaming up on Pete is a good idea.... sorry if I scared anyone...

In the last comment section, some readers suggested that a tree should be the mortal body to trap the loser in, due to limited movement and long life.

And just to be relevant to the thread again, Im not going to go all anti-Sabrina just yet. We must remember that She and Tarot left clues for King and Fox to find to get where they are now. And my guess is that because they are linked to their players somehow they are unable to discuss their plans to Bailey. Sadly they must fulfill their roles as avatars and relief as well. Its sad for us to see our girls fighting like this, but all we can do is hope for the best really.

What gets me is that all the players want the same end goal to happen; just through different means. Dragon wants equality through love. (Remember her "love is the eternal answer" poster?)
Pete wants equality through forcefulness. "...too coddling on you mortals."
Sabrina wants equality so she can love Fido openly, without either of them feeling embarrassment or shame.
Tarot wants equality... for reasons.
Bailey wants equality... oddly enough... for the same type of reasons as Sabrina. She wants to be able to love JoeKing (and have him love her back) without embarrassment or shame.

Does it seem odd to anyone else that Dragon's method for equality kindof matches Bailey's and King's?
