I really think that everyone that works in Heaven really would benefit from a Death Takes a Holiday style vacation. Just to get somewhat equated with time.

that King continues to show inaction.
The temporal time has King atwitter,
in a Café or out on the street.
The noble Corgi's doubt's no quitter
although that dessert is hard to beat.
He's listening to all three wise heads

Wonder if they don't handle the business with Pete and get Bailey as well as others back to the "mortal world" ASAP, will they end up finding themselves in the Babylon Garden, like, maybe dozens years later, and everyone else are gone?

They don't look "dead" to me. That kind of language just promotes vitalist prejudice, it does! If you need to refer to their non-metabolising state at all perhaps you could say "post-mortal" or "ex-corporeal".
