We have no proof that exploding penthouse was anywhere near Tiger(!)

Tiger's triumph has dropped off the air
and left the kids without a care,
those that saw the show was out there
wouldn't watch, even on a dare.
They search for him through the studio
Kevin taking to and Ralph taking fro,
searching for the would be afficionado
among the rubble of his show.
He became obsessed by the letter 'P'
and his sanity sailed out to see
He's determined to be the best he can be
and so he'll ignore Rocks' desperate plea.
He's seized the controls and ramped 'em,
as the hunt he tries to stem
and the rest shall know
as he sets to blow
the FCC are gonna have to condemn!

Could this possibly be the end of Tiger? All I can say is, rest in pieces.

It wouldn't be the first time a character ended rather abruptly, but somehow I feel like Tiger has plot armour.. Unless Rick wants to put him on a bus. It'll be interesting to see just how far this arc is willing to go.

This arc really displays as the Emotional Wreck he is. I honestly thought that he was being developed into not one.

But in all honesty..... Needs More Explosions.....

You know, the French word for "to cry" (Pleurer), and one way of saying explode (Pétard) both start with 'p's.

Actually pétard is more of a firecracker....and is more slang...and isn't English and all that. But, hey! What's a little stretch of logic, as long as Michael Bay gets his explosions at the end of the day!

Michael Bay's Funtime Learning Hour should totally a show. The title was probably the best thing about today's strip, imo.

This might actually put a dent in the ferrets' fortunes for once, having to pay for Kevin and Ralph's medical bills.

Next comic we'll pull back on the explosion and see it's just a movie Jerry's watching as he says to Marvin and Zach 'Wonder how Tiger's doing with his show.'

Somewhere in Hollywood Micheal Bay's getting truckloads of emails and tweets saying "Congrats on the 'Housepets!' shout out, Dude!"

You know, I don't think the ferrets can charge Tiger for any of this. I mean, yes he signed a contract, but paper doesn't do well in explosions.

Wow.

Even when I think back on all the violent kids shows we watched when I was little (okay, when I was young), I don't believe there was ever anything quite this... dramatic. Sure, there were decapitations on Tom and Jerry (the guillotine scene at the end of the 'Three Musketeers' episode), and don't get me started on some of the Dick Tracy cartoons, but Tiger's Funtime Learning Horror Hour would have been an easy fave.

Now, are you sure Soupy Sales got started this way?

We all could be thinking about this wrong and Tiger is the main charcter in an action movie about a anger issued dog who won his way into a tv show.

A kids show inside of an action movie inside of a webcomic! There's a horror element in there, too, as SuperStar pointed out to me, Tiger totally beats up Chauncey and then wears him (I had previously thought that Chauncey's head was a fun, innocent little baseball cap to accompany Tiger's bat).

But, Hannibal and Inception references are going to have to be put aside (at least by me), as I cannot think of any 'P' words that can accompany the reference.
