That's one deep pool (what were the Milton ferrets thinking?). Must be great for scuba diving! Who knows what kind of treasures might have sank there. Someone needs to clean it up though, the "I quit" sign seems very peculiar.

I feel bad for Sabrina's dress/gown if it ripped from the drainage, and Fido, who seems to have 'bonked' his head on his way down to save her.

Actually, I think that's more of an "you've got to be kidding me" expression in regards to the dress getting sucked into the drain; almost like a facepalm, but on the top of the head.

Oh, so THAT'S what that easter-egg-shaped thing is, didn't realize her dress was caught in a pool with no cover over it's drain.

Still surprising to see her sink though, I thought it was not easy to actually sink more than about two or three feet unless you are actively trying to swim to the bottom or have a weight attached.

Unlikely plot twist time! :)

Twist 1. Jata notices Sabrina drowning, jumps down, pulls her free and saves her. He then has to save Fido too as he has fainted for staying down there for so long without air. Sabrina marries Jata. Fido realizes its whats best for everyone. The end.

Twist 2. Rick was trolling us the whole time. Sabrina doesn't nearly drown. She drowns. The end.

Twist 3. Jata jumps in pool. its too late. Sabrina dies. Jata and Fido resume fighting. They sink. They die. (the end)

so morbid :(

I think that's more a facepalm. Though a few comics back it's suggested he was concussed, so having to go down 20 feet in water is probably really hurting right now.

Still, he has to get her out of that dress.

BTW: I don't think Jata gets involved. He's too full of himself with the fight. By the time he realizes what's going on, Fido will be back to the surface giving Sabrina CPR.

It was probably unplugged fairly recently, which (given the loose screws, screwdriver, and "I quit" sign) leads me to believe that it involved an escape attempt from an aquatic creature the ferrets might have kept in there.

It's a filter cover, not a plug. It's designed to keep large objects like wedding dresses out of the filter system, not to block water.

It's the filtersystem. The water is pumped out, through the filter, and back in the pool.

Fido seems to be thinking the same as my signature. (Plus an "of course this would happen.")

By the way, those of you thinking Jata will get involved in the rescue I see two possibilities:

1. Jata sticks his big toe just barely into the water and instantly lurches back, shouting something about the water being too cold.

2. Jata, noticing what's happened, instantly lunges into the water. (Thinking more of duty than of love...) Seeing the dress stuck he rips off just enough to free Sabrina from the drain. Fido then hauls Sabrina up to the surface, with Jata assisting for the last 10 feet or so. Having been "cooled off" by the water, Jata notices the way Sabrina stares into Fido's eyes; (insert cheesy violin music here) the same way she used to stare at him. With this in mind, Jata renounces his 'claim' on Sabrina. Keene steps up and offers to wed S&F, and they accept.

Why does it feel like I just wrote a chapter of a bad soap opera? *shiver*

Hmm well I see it going this way assuming Tarot was right, Sabrina passes out taking in water, Fido in a panic tears the dress off in a feat of adrenaline fueled strength, manages to get Sabrina to the surface to the surface begins to perform CPR while Jata is still to busy with the wolves and anyone else that gets in his way. SAbrina coughs up water as the cpr worked begins breathing on his own, other as other members of the K0 unit realize what happened and take of care of Sabrina till medical help arrives. And finishes with an adrenaline & rage fueled Fido taking Jata down, and Jata ends up locked up in a zoo.

So, at the end Sabrina has fell in the pool, and what a big pool... Great Fido in going to rescue her, but now quick to take off the dress in some way and go up, that hole is nothing good (and it's another example of the uncared managing and mainteinance of the manor by the Milton's).

Is Fido going to rip open Sabrina's wedding dress to save her?
I can see Jata being less than happy at a nude Fido (He removed his collar before diving in) giving a nude Sabrina the kiss of life, to a jealous kitty it could look like Fido and Sabrina are doing something adult.

Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

Isn't that happened when he first introduced Jata in this arc? Why he would do the same again? Unless the new character is one of Jata's relatives (or a wife of him) and is dragging him back home because he's embarassing their country.
