Yes, but he is/was a prince it really wouldn't have been that hard for him to get one. Plus everyone would include Sabrina herself and she has been in the US almost all of her life anyway.

Though this is thought provoking, aside from what can be gleaned from the Housepets Babies arc, Hp has yet to actually mention the age of any of its characters. Based on this and that arc the discernable age differences would be Sabrina being older than Grape, Grape being around the same age as Peanut, Bino and Sasha, Max, Fox and Fido being older than them, and Joey being the youngest currently in the comparison.

Ok so how OLD is she? Because Fido is not much older than Grape (I'd say two years older). Well, I suppose there's no age for love. Or maybe she is a sort of time traveler? After all, she knows A LOT about the history of the world and the animal kind if you remember her mini-story. Aww, I suppose it was just matter of time before I get paranoid in this arc.

As far as I know, they're not from the same litter. I think it has been said in the past by Rick.
They should have a year of difference between the younger to the older.

Their having different ages does make sense for their relationships and personalities rather well, they seem to share facets with the quintessential three child family dynamic.

Also, it's nice to see that Sabrina at least has Grape to talk to, if others like Keene and Jata won't listen. It helps even if Grape does have some catching up to do, and not quite delicacy of her well-meaning methods.

This actually might be a bit hard to give a year to because you have to give her time to remember cell phones not being common in the US without making her too old. It also depends on what you consider widespread use of cellphones which to me is around when kids started getting them. It would narrow down her birth to the early 2000s (maybe the late 90s depending on what you consider widespread)

Wait just a second here ... I just realized, that if there is going to be a wedding ... there should have been AT LEAST a bachelor or/and bachelorette party !!! Come on Keene, and dont tell me those nonsenses like "blah blah blah there was no time blah blah blah this wedding must happen now ...", there is ALWAYS time for party ! ... of course, if it already happen off camera or is going to happen, just ignore me

I've been wondering where Tarot's been. Has she been attempting things from behind the scenes, or still pouting because Rick didn't include her in the tags in her last appearence.

This strip is beginning to make me wonder about how pet ages work in this world. I know the usual age range for a cat is 12-17 years, so it'd be impossible for her to have been around THAT long (unless Sabrina is REALLY old), cuz' at that time those brick phones would have been around. Mayhapse pets live for a much longer time due to their human like features?

Pets live ~twice as long in Hp, so they would likely live to somewhere near thirty years old, assuming nothing stopped them early.

This makes me think, I think I was late to the whole "everyone has a cellphone" thing. Heck, I didn't get a proper introduction the internet until maybe Jr. High. I still remember I had one of those "little brick" phones for my first.

Didn't think that age was that big of a deal to her.

It doesn't have to be that way actually, Sabrina could be older then Tarot and still be her and Dragons apprentice. It would be based more on talent and ability to be an Avatar then anything else. However I personally believe its likely she is around the same age as Sabrina given how she acts compared to the rest of the cast.

Such would be the percieved norm for a teacher/apprentice relationship, but doesn't actually have to be the case. Tarot could have shown more of the characteristics that Dragon was looking for in an avatar the last time she had to choose another one, or simply gotten in line for the succession sooner. Sabrina and her father may have spent any amount of time abroad both before and after their period in Feraga, which is just one potential reason for things to happen as they did. Alternatively, any number of time/age warping effects could be/have been in play on Tarot and/or Sabrina, so any estimation we make has a wide margin for error.

I don't think so. It has been said that the role of avatar (at least for the case of Dragon) is passed through generations. Therefore, Sabrina must be significantly younger than Tarot or otherwise it wouldn't have sense.
However, perhaps since they're in contact with SD powers and all that psychic things they got an extended life? Though that shouldn't break the rule of not messing with the mortals' pass to eternity? Bah, they've done the same when they turned Joel into a dog.

I would interpret 'cellphone not beeing common' not as 'about everybody has one' but as 'it's not difficult or very expensive to get one'. So it must be in the 90th. The 'upper class' had them already, and that, I think, also includes princes of african micronations. The story happened bevore everybody had a cellphone, so let's say Sabrina is born around 1993-95, she now is 18-20 years old. So she just started the 2nd half of her lifespan.

I just checked the lifespan of pomeranians, because I always thought that Tarot is older than Sabrina, but not much older, maybe 3 or 4 years. Cannot really imagine that she is younger than Sabrina, but maybe we are mistaken by the unexpected high age of Sabrina. Wikipedia told me that the lifespan of a pomeranian is 12-16 years means 24 to 32 years in the HP!-universe, so she already is old... Maybe Rick should say a word about this.
As much as it is part of the life, I don't think that death is something that really matches in this comic. OK, a cat eating a mouse... but having a funeral of one of the main characters here in maybe two years - can't believe.

And Wikipedia also told me that they are VERY small, just 13-28cm.

Unless Rick was going for shock value (ie one of the K9s gets shot in the line of duty), I figure the most likely candidate would be Uncle Ruben Sandwich....the major plot point being his suspected cat loving be exposed by a high number of feline mourners at his funeral.
