Of course Jata is just playing ball to see how far Sabrina is willing to go on with this charade.
But even if Sabrina had actually brought Max, Jata would've regarded his presence as something irrelevant. The leopard ìs just having his fun.
What I really wonder is, when push will come to shove, if Fido will have the courage to come out and publicly announce his feelings for Sabrina in the face of the Prince.

Has the theory that Jata is Pete in disguise been considered and rejected?
After all...he is staying in the house of Pete's minion and chasing after the person most likely to replace Tarot if needed as Dragon's avatar.

If so, then separating Sabrina from Dragon might not be his only goal. It was shown that Fido was a previous goal of Pete's for his avatar as a dream sunderer (https://www.housepetscomic.com/2012/05/ ... sundering/) Assuming that this is Pete, it seems he'd have quite a plan going.

I acknowledge that this is likely not where things are going, but it's fun to think of, a sure sign of good literature.

Grape is failing to stay in character, but Jata doesn't joke, without notice that's a female and that's being in love with him. He didn't notice she neither when came in town... Yeah, "Concord has been", Jata wills a forced re-joining with Sabrina.

I have a feeling that whatever country Jata is from that they might have a law that if one person or in this case feline confesses there love for one another that's as good as a marriage proposal and on top of that, I also think that he sees Sabrina as his property because of that.

well, Pete does have a knack for trying to plan ahead and make comprimises' in his favor. Pete being Jata all along seems to advanced for his apparent strategy so far seeing as kings already been informed that Pete's going to resign from The Game one year after Kings wedding

I also think Pete has a soft spot/thing for Dragon but he can't risk showing it because it will devastate the image he's trying to paint of himself
