I can't belive that Max accepted this kind of request so easily...
Specially after the last Arc!

But maybe Im just a noob taking the "Rule of funny" too serious...

Well... I think that we will not have that thing were the true girlfriend appears in the same place as the fake one,and the boyfriend try to keep two dates going on at the same time... Which normally includes several exchanges of clothes, and in the end a mixed variation. Since Grape already know everything.

Much of this depends on how much Sabrina is willing to gamble on Grape being discovered she's a girl by Jata. But hey ~ Grape is doing it for free. and Max really can't argue against Grape...

Maxwell chose the largest bell he could find and removed the clapper himself.

Maxwell didn't accept anything easily, he intended to leverage Sabrina's desperation to win concessions. Six pounds of catnip is a lot and having an ex-girlfriend telling everyone how cute you are is kind of a big deal. He wasn't done listing his demands when Grape took the phone away, either.

At the end of the arc, Fido and Sabrina's relationship does come out- but, since it's Fido, everyone now thinks being a cat-lover is cool (Except Bino, of course).

Weirdest thing....Grape wasn't even in Maxwell's house when he got the call - her 'My chance to cross dress and participate in a RealLife "Pridelands" adventure with a real member of feline royalty' sense kicked in.

Of course if Tarot wasn't on the outs with Dragon at the moment, she could do a whole holodeck job on Jetta, possibly with Peanut crossspeciesing as a cat.

In regards to comments about the smell giving away Grape's real gender, why would it? I mean, Peanut didn't realize it until she actually outright stated it and he lives in the same house with her, where he'd have plenty of opportunities to get her scent.

Really, for all that the cast is primarily animals, there doesn't seem to be all that much mention of them having sharper senses of smell and hearing, nor that there's any loss of visual acuity compared to humans as is the case in RL housepets. Heck, the only mention of differing senses I can recall off the top of my head (which admittedly may not be the only actual reference; my memory can give black holes pointers on how to suck

) was by King shortly after he was transformed, in this strip.
