[ Here Come Da Bride ]

Title Text: I found these in the back, I didn't know church came with snacks! / I couldn't find a suit that fit so I had myself dyed instead / I'm the most dressed out of all of you so why do I feel so naked in here? / ZZZ / Sasha get off the stage you're supposed to precede the bride

Look at all the people who showed up! Mr. London is best typist. *giggles* Also, there are a lot of cops there, huh? So much to see...

That is a lot of tags. I'm pretty sure this is the biggest collection of characters in one place in the whole of the comic.

Wow, that is the longest list of tags ever, as well as the longest list of title texts I've ever seen.

I gotta, say I really, really like the detail work on this. Not only is a lot of folks/pets there, but they're quite true to their personality. Like Sasha is being random as we like her, Sabrina is kinda bugging Fido (I'm thinking that's what she does when they're both in public, right?), and Karishad is acting like...well, himself.

Karishad is an usher (that is why he's standing there, right?). Personally, I think he would have been an awesome justice of the peace.

this is definitely the best panoramic EVER in the comic. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Suggestion: this strip alone needs to be elaborated as a desktop screen 16:9, and I am sure the same will go for the next comic *winks*

Yeah...I'll admit, I did actually notice that after I made the post. ^^; I figured though it might still count since one of the subtext reads as "Sasha get off the stage you're suppose to proceed the bride." I mean she is there before the bride, but some how that bit of 'not yet' seems to give off that personality I think most of appreciate about her during her appearances.

The church is packed as she starts out
with friends, family and her loved one
spectators, humans and cameras about -
not to mention cubs having such fun.

He's waiting there for her at the end
looking nervous at the altar to meet her,
being encouraged by his grinning friend
and... is Karishad really that painted usher?

She smells totally divine to his nose
and looks magnificent to his eyes
he sucks in his fears and thinks 'here goes'
and hopes for ceremony without surprise.

And now, before their watching eyes
the loving couple shall declare vows
regardless of their differences (in size?)
they shall declare and Keene? He endows.

Maybe this is the first occasion of many
with Fox and Sasha, not to mention any
other pair you might care to mention.
But... will it go well? Oh, the tension!

((I tried hard to come up with a workable rhyme for Karishad but altered his line after a while.))

What can be said has already been said.

So I'll say it again, that first panel has SO much win in it. Surprised no one's mentioned Falstaff to the right, poking his head out. Even the woodland critters are allowed... though they're probably stealing the food. "Truck! They're still distracted! Grab as much as you can!"

Also, Snow and her cubs. Cuteness overload. I can't tell who's peeved and looking out the window on the same pew as her, though.

And I think a human is poking the blind wolf in the ear. Or is wanting to.

I don't think Karishad's 'wearing' a suit. We know the others bought theirs and we're told someone's wearing a paint suit...

You may note that, whilst he's facing the dog who's watching him, his eyes are pointed directly at Snow's cub in the front row. Who's also trying to get to the bunny.

Oh, there's also a puppy playing on a handheld console about three aisles back. He thought no-one would notice him but we did.

That panel is swimming in funny (and otherwise) background events:
  • Rodney and Snow have two pups, I knew they had more than one
  • I'm thinking Poncho is other-brother-Daryl's son
  • No idea why Zach is here alone
  • For that matter, where's Lester?
  • lol, Fido caught sight of Sabrina
  • Tarot's hiding. She must know. Hopefully she won't do anything stupid
I saw the words that obviously imply the music, and I couldn't help but think of the song "Ms. Jackson". x3

Also, I'm surprised Fiddler and Keys aren't here. They could've been doing the music. And whichever of them is the girl could catch the bouquet. :p

(For those who are new, Fiddler and Keys are music-playing cats. It's known they are a couple, and Rick said one is a boy and one is a girl. It's just unknown which is which due to the inherent gender confusion in the cats in this comic.)

My first post on this forum, but I had some observations about King as a whole.

While I'm seriously on pins and needles waiting to see where this arc goes and especially waiting to see when he finally tells everyone who he was, I think the ramifications of this storyline go a lot further than people are remembering.

In a much, much earlier chapter. King was promised two rewards for being forced into this. One reward "soon" (from that point) and one reward "at the end." The first was likely Bailey, who gave him is first real happiness. The second one, however...

...Think about it. King's soul is quite tangibly in the balance. There was talk about dog heaven being more lenient than human heaven. Talk about what King must ultimately choose to be. That coupled with the reward at "the end", and...

*Shudder* I... hope I'm wrong about this. King is my absolute favorite character, and it would kill me to lose him. I mean, on the other hand, Pete begrudgingly said that mortals always get happy endings, so it wouldn't surprise me if King somehow survives the final ordeal.

One last thing. Pete said that his "dark paladin" is feuled by discontentment. That could mean that either Bailey is taken from him somehow (maybe he's jailed!!!) or that he loses all of his friends when they discover the truth. maybe both!

The question is... if and when King agrees to become Pete's avatar, does Pete come back as Gasper? Or does King have to channel him a la Tarot (which wouldn't make sense since he's not psychic).

See, this is what happens when I get up early, read a new comic page, and my mind starts racing. =P

We can't see the musicians. It could still be them.

Tarot may have snuck in because she doesn't think King would want her there. Or she's about to try and so to Peanut what Sabrina just did to Fido.
