That's pretty intense. Where on Earth did they get a dungeon?
Now I wonder what's going to happen with Bino.

Interesting to see Bino in there. I would consider him the most likely one wanting in this war. Really can't wait to see his reason down there. My money is the dogs know Bino is horrible at war.

well he did do all that making fun of his name that drove him to insanity and overeating. that kind of deserves revenge.IceKitsune wrote:of course it could be something that happened on some other day that Tiger is getting revenge for and he joined the Cats right at the start of the war.
Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Bino should know better than to sleep in. It never turns out well in Babylon Gardens...
Zach is experiencing everything, huh? I wonder where the dogs got that rack?
I loved the tickle torture!

The waterboarding would be Dark, but the real torture is Zach being forced to take a slide in Crocodile Mile

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
You know, I didn't realize how much I wanted a Zach arc until now. This strip specifically.
Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Tickleboarding? Nice. And Bino of all dogs gets captured.
Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
I think it's less getting caught and more of him being lazy and the other dogs taking insult from that.

Hmm... better not to sleep too long or you will be labeled as an enemy, thrown into dungeon and get hanged upside down xo

What is on that rag being shoved into Zach's face anyway? Is that even a rag? In the first panel.
So if Yeltsin is holding him down, and Bino is locked up, does that mean Boris is interrogating Zach?

I don't think it's a rag, I just think Rex is shutting his mouth with his paw.

Unless it's a coloring error, there's definitely a rag there. It's slightly off white, a bit yellowish, and not the color of Rex or Zach.Sleet wrote:I don't think it's a rag, I just think Rex is shutting his mouth with his paw.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
This arc reminds me of when I lived in Savannah, GA. A lot of kids in the neighborhood did this during the dog days of summer (that and sprinklers).
So, I'm guessing Zach and Joey share the same role as outcasts? Also, would the cats' fear of water give them a tactical advantage?

If you're talking about the dog that's hung next to Zach, that's Bino. *giggles*Anthroguy101 wrote:This arc reminds me of when I lived in Savannah, GA. A lot of kids in the neighborhood did this during the dog days of summer (that and sprinklers).

I forgot to say that panels 2 and 3 are just too cute!
Also, I know it's his second appearance and he's unimportant, but WHY is Yeltsin imprisoned?

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
I think he's actually running the prison, or is there to look threatening during the interrogation or something. I don't think there are a lot of characters on the dog team that could overpower him.Alex wrote:Also, I know it's his second appearance and he's unimportant, but WHY is Yeltsin imprisoned?

He's not. He's running the place.Alex wrote:I forgot to say that panels 2 and 3 are just too cute!

I also think he's holding Zach's arm to make him lay still. And Boris is actually holding Zach's other arm, but he's not shown.CaptainPea wrote:I think he's actually running the prison, or is there to look threatening during the interrogation or something. Gentlemen, we have science.
His fur is #f1e4fc, Which is a VERY dull purple. If we crank up the saturation all the way, It's approximately 2 parts blue 1 part red. On some computer screens, it's not unreasonable that it would look pink.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Forgive me, Rick, but after that , *eherm*, debate about his fur color a few months back, I couldn't help but point it out.rickgriffin wrote:I'm still not sure where you guys are getting 'pink'Teh Brawler wrote:Oh, hey, look, Zach is pink.
Too lazy to actually find said debate.
DOH HO HO WELL THEN
Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Maybe it originated from the apparent hue of his fur.rickgriffin wrote:I'm still not sure where you guys are getting 'pink'Teh Brawler wrote:Oh, hey, look, Zach is pink.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
It looks to me more like lilac, but I can see how it can be pink.Zander wrote:Maybe it originated from the apparent hue of his fur.rickgriffin wrote:I'm still not sure where you guys are getting 'pink'
For the record, it looks like this
❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚
When highly saturated, it is pretty much definitely purple.
❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚❚
It's kind of unimportant, but whatever. I guess the reason it interests people is that, outside of Grape, most of the pets are colored various tones of grays and browns, so Zach's color, while subtle, stands out.
What I find interesting is that, while it is implied to be Rex, we don't definitively know who is interrogating Zach. I'd like to think it's Sasha.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Pink is basically a high-value, low-saturation purple. So he's pinkish! In the same sense that my fur is blue.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Well, this is interesting. I wonder where Fido is?
and if the cubs are playing with the dogs... i wonder about the rest of the family? @______@
and i'm almost convinced the ferrets are on the cat's side now. Though i got a crazy idea that might just work that Res/Mrs. Auburn is supporting the cats somehow through the power of their book series success. Made funny with the power of Abasi Gatamu! Then That would be epic =3
