I bet the watch is breakable but it won't do anything to it soul wise so Bino will break it and give it to King then the person from Heaven will come and pick it up and tell him nothing is wrong with it.

Edit: Its also possible that what will happen when its broken will be a good thing for King in some way.

I think Joey looks more like Bino than usual in panel seven. it's the facial expression.
Paradigm Shift by me
I do not actually believe any of what I'm saying.

firstly:
was anyone else unaware that Bino had two (hired?) thugs at his disposal?
secondly:
This is getting intense.
thidly:
where's fido? wasn't Bino hanging out with him just a few strips ago?
fourthly:
now, more than ever, I hate Bino.

As I said already, once, Bino: The guy we love to hate (despite his unexpected random acts of cuteness)
Usually, when it gets this intense and the baddy's gonna win, it's because he's gonna lose. Specifically

1) Fox may not like King's attachment to that watch, but he will like even less this pure act of bullyism, at the cost of sacrificing his mermbership of the GODC and do Bino another act of serious harm
2) The watch simply won't be smashed. It's King' decision to do what he want of his own fate, not someone elses's and that should include mortals
3) Or the watch will be smashed and Joel will stay King. not a bad bargain, after all
4)Oh, and let's not forget Sasha: there is still the hope for an EPIC SLAP right in front of everyone, she gets the watch, Bino breaks with her and maybe King of Hearts will start (ok, that's wishful thinking but hey!)

on a sidenote: Boris & Eltsyin look AWESOME!!! I wonder how does he get such loyalty from two big boys like that? (OK, if their brains work like Rex's...)
And Fido, where are you? They just hit your bro, man!

okay, you gotta love Joey for wanting to be the hero, but really? Everyone knows you toss in some gas canisters before charging in.

And I layghed hard when Sasha said Bino had a pencil neck.

When will King ever catch a break?

It being unbreakable is what I though of at first but then how could he get it back from Bino? I think Bino would really want to keep an Unbreakable Watch wouldn't you?

Rick, you've got me GLUED to the story, despite the fact that I STILL haven't seen it! It boggles my mind how you might finish this in THREE updates, doubles or no, but I think you can, you've done it before. I hope nothing is left hanging... :?.

just a thought: will this be the point at which King reveals his identity as Joel? He might need to in order to shock Bino into not breaking the watch.

also, please let Fox find out about this.

It all depends on how abruptly help comes to the rescue, if that is what will happen.

as to the people saying the watch is unbreakable... I doubt it. There wouldn't be any suspense if it were unbreakable. There would be nothing to lose by having Bino take a hammer to it.

Nobody does, and as I said before smashing the watch might not doing anything to it soul wise or it might turn out to be a good thing for King.

I'd like for Joel to be returned to his human state, actually. I doubt 'smashing' the watch would lead to this result, however.

Ok I shouldn't have said nobody but I would say the majority do want him to stay as King. Personally I don't mind either way myself

Maybe it really belongs to Pete. But if it was Pete's magic that turned Joel into King, wouldn't that mean King would transform again? But if Pete dies, what would happen to the game? Would it be over? Will King most likely ask Spirit Dragon or Kitsune to stay as King? Only Rick knows.

I'm pretty confident that regardless of what happens, death is not in the cards. Or, if it is, it's all right.

Why, so he can spend 20 years in a cold dark place? :? He's a hunted man, if you remember, and has practically NOTHING to gain by going back other than simply BEING human.

And all of a sudden, this comic is no longer recomended for children under 13 years of age. Although I actually doubt there are many people here under 13 years old anyway.

More likely it will lead to Bino's face getting smashed with said hammer. I doubt supernatural things break easy.
