I noticed that. Pete apparently doesn't want this to play out; he knows he'll eventually lose if Rick continues the arc.

Such as the risk when the comic is done the evening before and then uploaded on the dot. But it rarely pays to work ahead.

Hes at his brothers right now he has power to recharge the laptop. Even if he wasn't at his brothers the power is back on at his place anyway.

the kinetic energy of an object falling from Heaven would have created an impact crater that probably would have turned Babylon Gardens into an extension of the ocean and shrouded the earth in darkness for a thousand years
