Re: Arc #55: The Trial in Heaven

Maybe it's because he said he didn't want to burn himself out by doing one long arc after another. Besides, I think he's inclined to answer questions about what he left out to a reasonable degree.

He was still feeding his negative emotions and possibly hatred: am I missing something? :? Re: Arc #55: The Trial in Heaven

Huh. This sucks. I'm not going to make too many comments on this, but it is congruent--Pete did Joel a "favor" by basically putting him on a fast track to heaven. How? :| What I'm getting is that Pete meant for King to be a source of dark power in order to win the game. No doubt had he suc...

Re: Arc #55: The Trial in Heaven

There is to be no name-calling or other flame-baiting in this thread. There is a difference between objectively stating one's positive or negative criticism and ramming it down the author's throat. If you say "I have a concern with X" and the author's reply is "trust me, I've been wo...

Well that is why it gets into "celestials don't care about mortals" which is only half the story. They DO care about mortals, which is why there is a heaven. They just don't care about the exact same things mortals do. Well, I HOPE they care about love and friendship at the very LEAST, th...

Considering it was just a physical transformation, the is no existential question at all. King is just a name. Just like Joel is a name. They both refer to the same person, the same soul. You'll need to adjust your expectations of what the court is looking for. They aren't (at least to a legal degree) interested in personal feelings of individual mortals.
