Pretty sure that's Grape narrating. I had a small feeling this arc that Peanut would end up having Grape miss out on the movie. I'd take it, if it wasn't permanent, like in King's case. I'm sure it would be real fun, but there's still lot I want to do which I couldn't do as a pet. While also it being rather responsible free life, I'd miss some rights I wouldn't have as a pet.

Being close friends with Martin/Gottschalk sure is dangerous gig. On the positive side Peanut is captured along side with Tegan, so they can exchange gossips and talk about cute kittens and all that good stuff. Also now would be the best time to put that academy training to use

Tarot isn't actually Peanut's girlfriend, but a psychiatrist who helps him to overcome his cat loving issues. They keep the guise of relationship in order to weaken the cat lover reputation and uses 'dates' as a codeword for therapy sessions. All this would go smoother though, if it wasn't for Tarot...
