Aldryd nodded silently at Sara and carried off the beast into the woods. A while after that the otter returned to his clearing, boots dripping with water and mud. He tromped through the grass towards his cottage, ready to enter and go to bed, regardless of his guests

"The beast isn't dead." Aldryd grunted as he stood back up, picking up the creature. He huffed and held it over his shoulder, "I'm going to take it back out into the forest, you should both carry in the firewood."
