Re: Alas, Babylon Gardens (PG-13)
So apparently I'm a big fat liar. After a brief discussion with Coatl_Ruu, he asked if I could hold off on Part Three until he's wrapped up The Dogs of War (which is on its last chapter). Since Pt. 3 pretty much consists of just his characters, it seems like honoring his request is the right thing t...

Re: Are You A Furry?
There is a parallel with shooting, kind of. If you tell someone you like shooting, a lot of people will think you're a white trash redneck, and some will even go so far as to think you're a dangerous borderline murderer. Just like furries, firearm enthusiasts have to suffer some pretty bad assumpti...

Re: Are You A Furry?
If I could put in my three cents (inflation)... I don't want to be contrarian here, but the answer may not be so sinister. Perhaps a more suitable comparison than "new shoes" would be another hobby (I think it's fair to say being a furry is a type of hobby, no?). For example, my two big ho...

To clarify:
I'm not worried about eating bugs in my sleep or anything like that, it's just the idea of them crawling on my body without me knowing-- improbable or not. It's not like I obsess over it or anything, but the thought does enter my mind whenever I see/kill a bug in the house.

Heights: Whenever I'm on any object more than about twenty feet off the ground, I get freaked out that I'm going to run and throw myself off the ledge-- not that I ever would, of course. It's awesome to have seen all these protests, and that seems to have raised awareness of these terrible bills. I was talking more about just being a furry. The whole tail/ears/collar thing doesn't exactly appeal to me. But then, I'm a fairly un-furry furry. For lack of a better term.
So you think a decade or less, huh? Hmm. Be interesting to see how it plays out...

The scariest part of all this, though, isn't the legislation (in my opinion). Because even as bad as the bill is, it's limited and easy to circumvent if necessary. BUT. The infrastructure that this legislation requires could be used for any sort of censorship in the future. And, theoretically, once ...

So it's great to be here. Anyways, moving on to the topic at hand: Perhaps a little history first: around a year ago...
