Re: Languages
If you're not good with accents though, you can probably also tell just by the words and phrases they use; the easiest example for me at the moment is that Canadians say "washroom" where an American would use "bathroom". I prefer saying restroom when I'm being formal, like at a ...

Re: Languages
Speaking of language, has anyone from America had problems with British accents? I've heard some people say they could hardly understand people from the UK, but I've never had a problem except with the harshest of accents that even British people make fun of.

Re: Homework Thread
In regards to fractions, the best way to deal with anything in math is simplify, simplify, simplify. Take for example: 2x + 6y = 4 It would look so much nicer if you could divide it by 2, but wait you can! x + 3y = 2 Both of those equations are equivalent. For a fraction example (x+y)/2 + y = 5 take...

Here's a helpful tip for everyone with a graphing calculator. You can get your TI-83/TI-84 to solve algebra. You need to go to Math, then at the bottom to Solve. Format the equation you want to solve so that it equals 0, and type it into your calculator (the field should look like 0= INPUT). There s...

Well if you just want alt text on your phone Rick or the web admin could add some javascript to each comic page which checks if your browser is a mobile browser then displays the alt text as text under the picture if so.

I prefer digital distribution, especially when you can borrow extra fast internet from a school, friend, or the library. The first Left 4 Dead felt like a nicely put together, but empty game. Not hardly enough weapons and maps for a zombie apocalypse. And no melee weapons? How will I know that I have met the zombies in equal combat without it? Killing Floor provided that and a class system that kept you playing.

What I meant by radio is the speaker control system (which is in the radio). That can also go bad and the speakers could be fine. The only way to properly test would be to swap out speakers for known good speakers.

I'd strongly suggest you try DJ Shadow. DJ Shadow - Midnight in a Perfect World I've been listing to his music again and the beat/melody combinations he uses. It's indescribable how much I love his stuff.
