Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer

Ahhhh, I finally get it! Pete wanted Grape as his avatar (typically furry, a male playing a female), but Spirit Dragon prevented it through Tarot! So he became King instead. That also explains why King so easily said his name when he was first named . The gods aren't just geeks, they're furry geeks!...

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer

Personally, there's only two logical explainations:

1) King is still drooling on the floor of Pete's house.

2) King OD'd on orange soda and is either trippin' or unconscious.

Really? Cause he's only like twice King's size in the second panel. Which would put him at about regular human size. I think he can be bigger if he wants to :D. Pete may look smaller since he's in the background. Look at the positions of King and Pete from the first panel to the second. No, Pete is...

As for what Tarot once said in n-ple Date... I think the way she meant it is, she knows how Peanut feels for Grape. She's there to alleviate his loneliness, but would get out of the way if Grape ever reciprocated Peanut's romantic crush (hence, breaking Max's heart). But as it stands after I2, that'...

Possible future anthology

We've heard rumblings that Rick Griffin has plans in the future to make Housepets books. However, I just had a thought. When Tom Fischback started anthologizing TwoKinds, he decided to redraw his old comics in his current style. Wouldn't it be cool if Rick did that as well with the old-style comics,...

Tarot is most likely privy to who King is/was, since she's been tracking Pete. King probably has no idea of her powers.

Still, what a killjoy. She could've just said she already has a boyfriend. (Peanut)
