Re: 2019/06/26 - So Crazy It Must Be True

Wow, Craig and Draig are both losing their grasp on their former lives. Draig is using kid vernacular (“big ol’ scary dragon”) and Craig is making monster sounds; then again, he could be introspectively channeling what a horrible person he was to others into that one sound. :P But more likely just a...

Or was it a book about how to be good a host to squirrels? I can’t remember. Maybe it was both. Been so long since I read that book in an attempt to please Diss.

So, rather than stay with someone he knows who is kind to wildlife and is an unlimited source of food, he decided to go with two blithering wild animals he doesn’t know to unfamiliar territory. Sounds legit. :|

Re: 2019/06/03 - End Of Year Eleven

This strip appears to be a textbook example of Cerberus Syndrome . Remember the days when Grape and Peanut imaginated weather wizards and plague zombies without a care in the world, and their biggest concern was losing “the game”? I have doubts we’ll ever see that fun wholesome silliness equaled aga...

Re: 2019/06/03 - End Of Year Eleven

Well, I really hope that this strip isn’t an indication of the tone of the comic in the future. After all, I signed up for a slice-of-life-slash-romantic-comedy about animals, not a drama/tragedy. I’m probably overthinking it... though, Rick has already put at least one of his characters through lit...

If Marion is smart, he’ll stick around until his mom has come to the conclusion that her son is lost and that the squirrel is her only lead.

But I’m guessing he’ll either be chased away or carried away by another critter before that happens.

Re: King's Age?

Anthro dogs are supposed to age 3.5 years per year. And even then, I’m pretty sure there’s some sort of disturbance in the space/time continuum that’s kept them from aging that quick.

Re: 2019/05/22 - Return Of The Broom

To her credit, Marion’s mom stopped and gave him the chance to explain. He should have taken that opportunity to prove who he was - but I suppose the caffeine overload impaired his judgement somewhat.
