Re: Chat Thread 36: Get Off My Lawn!

I want to some day get a large group of people to dress like members of the Justice League of America (I call Hal Jordan) and walk around Philadelphia trying out cheese steaks. Also, we could get another group of people to dress as DC villains and do the same thing, only to meet up in the same area...

I think Boxart Megaman was an ingenious move by Capcom, even if I hate them right now. erm...you're saying Capcom wanted bad publicity since 'all publicity is good publicity'? I just think it was extremely funny. Keiji Inafune (the creator of Megaman who left Capcom) LOVED it. EDIT: So the devs of ...

I'm not sure if I want to get Dead Island while it's on sale or not, hmmmmmmm. Don't bother, its just not worth the money. Don't be rude for any reason please because being rude is rude. Positivity and a realistic outlook aren't irreconcilable. Hope is a pretty big motivator, and if we never thought we could succeed we wouldn't get a lot done. The problem occurs when people overdo the "positive outlook", so t...

no, just realist. point out the good and the bad in a situation. If the bad outweighs the good it's a bad situation, and if the good is more prevalent, it's a good situation. It was a joke. Do not be optimistic, be objective. I prefer being optimistic. Ditto. Optimism is just as bad as being pessimistic. There's no reason that society should worship the idea of highlighting the positive features of a situation or idea. It's actually a pretty bad fixation to have. So you're saying ever...

I've been looking at the prices for Guild Wars 2...I'm actually really annoyed at them. Apparantly it's $60 in USA, like a lot of the best games are worth I'm told. In England, the normal price for top games is £40. That's about $64, so USA is still getting it cheaper but since it's not a lot I'm n...
