Re: 2013/04/03 - Disarming Situation

I'm kinda curious to know how Jack lost that arm. It'd probably make a good story. I think he either lost it in an accident or he got such bad frostbite one day that it just fell off. (Possibly in that huge snowstorm?) Either way it's not very PG of Rick to do that in the comic. But maybe in a chra...

Reminds me of that pic floating around the web of a man who tattooed a shark on his stub. You gotta love someone who's still light-hearted about something like an amputation.

Re: If you had a chance to become Pet or Housepet universe P

No in either case. After all, I'd miss having ten fingers, ten toes, all my given rights, and my current life expectancy. However, I'd love to meet housepets! pets. :) You have to figure, though. Those pets are having way more than one human lifetime's worth of crazy fun in one of their short lives.

Re: Which HP would you want to live with?

Are we talking living with as humans or as fellow pets? That has a lot to do with my decision. As pets I'd probably have the Sandwiches, and then probably fox or Sasha. Peanut and Grape are main characters, so you gotta love 'em. Once I figured out that Sasha's owner was a complete dillweed, I autom...

Yea, as far as my Google-fu can tell it never saw the light of day. At least not that I've been able to find.

How did Housepets come to be...Housepets?

What I mean is, in the HP-verse, were the pets always sapient, bipedal, and as long-lived as they were, or were they made to be that way somehow? Could it have been a science experiment gone awry, a bad round of cosmic D&D, or just always that way?

Re: If you had a chance to become Pet or Housepet universe P

If we're talking IRL pets, then no. Definitely no.

If we're talking Housepets!, then definitely, without hesitation, and again, yes. I'd rather be a dog than a cat if I had the choice.

Re: Have You Ever Stopped Reading Housepets (Accident?)

I lost it briefly after the 'Imaginate, too!' arc, and I lost it over about the last 9 months since I didn't have internet at my new house (and holy wa, I was missing out.)

Re: The Welcome Thread!

Yep. I'm new on the forums.

Anyway, my name is Spens. I've been following the comics since early 2010, and I'd have to say so far my favorite arc so far is the 2012 Christmas arc with Bailey and King. It takes a lot to make a man shed tears of 'D'awwwwww!'
