Joys: Yesterday I had an on-and-off headache that made it feel like that day lasted for a week. I woke up earlier today and to my delight it was gone. It's easier to have a good day when your head doesn't start pounding each time you stand up from your seat.

Re: 2020/02/24 - Night In The Woods
My money was on King running into other characters he'd try to rope into helping him with his predicament, but running & hiding from Sasha's Sasha-ness is excellent too. Feels like we're a few strips away from the conclusion of this arc, and I'm curious as to what it's going to end on.

My student ID expired last month, so I went to campus to get a new one made. Really glad they have the printing devices that can just make it in a minute. Now I’m sitting down in the library and relaxing on my laptop, playing a game or two. Next I’m going to microwave up the lunch I brought with me,...

I had a reasonably productive Sunday. I cooked up some bacon and toast for a late breakfast, did some editing of my resume and gave the second draft to somebody to look at and see if it looks good, and am getting a plan in place in coordination with my mom to get the kitchen remodeled and renovated.

Re: 2020/02/07 - Line Defense
I empathize with King here; Sasha is going to cross a lot of lines by her very nature and Bailey definitely knows that, so King wants to know the adamant line that Bailey never wants crossed rather than only having vague boundaries. But all this is giving me the vibe I feel like this may be all a se...

Bailey knows Sasha pretty well (Sasha was maid of honor at the wedding) - I think she cuts her a few miles of slack. She also knows King and his anxieties, and she trusts him emphatically. Agreed. A good joke would be King stammering as he tries to get out the “It’s not what it looks like!” speech ...

I think what's going on here lies somewhere in the middle. Kevin wants to pop the question, Lana wants Sasha to stay with King for the time being (but not necessarily for as long as Kevin said), and the ECP boarding house is actually closer to completion and being set up than is being let on. Crazy ...

It actually doesn't feel that long. It's been about six months since King mentioned it was being planned. I'm sure Keene and Lana altered it to assume a Badger-caused influx. If it’s taking them this long to set up the new boarding, I’m curious if this’ll be a house or some kind of larger building. I could see Keene and Co. having to spend months negotiating with the city to get the proper zoning permits and so forth in place.

Well, there’s the clarification. That wording and the circumstances really did have me believing that Steward was a red herring all along. Now we wait to see when Bronson and Mr. Porter show up at Keene’s doorstep... Lois & Marion are truly thick as thieves. I’m glad that they have each other. Mario...

Re: 2019/12/23 - The Witness Badger
Things being more complicated than Steward using the coin to try and ruin the Miltons makes the story more interesting. Steward having motives to keep the ECP from going under rather than trying to get revenge make him a more interesting and 3-dimensional character. The point of all of this was, IMO...

Re: 2019/12/23 - The Witness Badger
My understanding of what Steward is saying here is that he’s talking about when he teamed up with Thomas originally, in that one scheme, as Rikunda pointed out,and not recently. I think Thomas and Steward are acting on their own, individually, as of right now. As is being discussed, the way Steward ...

Re: 2019/12/20 - The Joke Is Violence
For me, the quality of the arc doesn’t really hinge on whether or not Steward was guilty of transforming Marion & Lois or helping the character who did. I think My Life As A Teenage Squirrel has been great. We were introduced to a couple of new characters outside of the typical species range of the ...

Karishad is a big help, grabbing the door like that. Yeah, I’m real curious as to where this is headed. Either way, I strongly believe that Lois & Marion are going to be stuck as animals. Trying to parse what he's saying... He could be telling them to either look for the gold, or go to the ruins of the temple where they could find clues. Both of those would likely lead them to Steward. But what throws me off is how Kitsune says "It's not gonna help with what you really need~". Kitsun...
